God Defines Biology, Not The Supreme Court Of America!

It's awkward how people claim to be scientific but hate the One who wrote the laws of science in the first place.  Did these atheists know that most of the scientists they are learning from are really Christian scientists?  Sad to say but Romans 1:18-32 speaks of the sad truth of man's sinfulness especially when it comes to homosexuality.  Just because God uplifted the sentence of stoning homosexuals to death does not mean it has become morally acceptable.  Romans 1:22 warns, "Professing to be wives, they became fools."  In what way have they become fools?  You might want to teach all the stupidity that evolution teaches.

Teaching the concept of evolution (especially at the atheistic viewpoint) as science really defeats critical thinking.  When you ask an evolutionist for proof, they either present very weak proof like a single tooth or skull or to cut a long story short, they resolve to the logical fallacy of false dilemma saying something like, "Either you bel…

How Should Christians Respond To Full Legalization of Same Sex Marriage?

It's a sad, sad day for the United States of America.  The homosexuals had won to appeal for what will be supporting their very own doom - if Jihadists won't kill them, their very actions may soon kill them with all the dangers related to homosexual activity.  They will always pretend to be the victim of homophobia even when they are not.  However, it's very important for a Christian to know how to respond to the dilemma of homosexuality.  Times like these, I am tempted to take Steven Anderson's rather extreme stand or the late Fred Phelps' rather extreme stand.  But that is not what the Scripture would recommend.

Should Christians go crazy like Steven Anderson with his tirades that has his, "The only way the world can get AIDS free is if we kill homosexuals!" or become like the Westboro Baptists and shout "God Hate Fags!" and cause trouble?  Christians as much as they are called to oppose homosexual marriage, however, are not called to massacr…

Has Pope Francis Really Read Luke 22:36?

Luke 22:36 says, "Then said he unto them, But now, he that hath a purse, let him take it, and likewise his scrip: and he that hath no sword, let him sell his garment, and buy one."

Nothing really amazes me more than how the Vatican is always twisting the Scripture.  After all, the Roman Catholic priests are the biggest modern day equivalent of the Pharisees.  Remember what Jesus said in Mark 7:13 says, "Making the word of God of none effect through your tradition, which ye have delivered: and many such like things do ye."  The context also condemned the Pharisees for what might be their lack of respect for their parents.  Pope Francis is NO different and take note, he is the first Pope that came from the Jesuit Order of Pharisees.  I prefer to call their priests as Pharisees because they are showing the traits of the Pharisees (see Matthew 23 which I am showing a Roman Catholic translation to show even their translation condemns them).  The Jesuit Order while it su…

Examining The Greek Words For Carnal and Justify To Understand Scripture And Dispel Heresy!

Some people tell me that learning the Greek and having a Greek dictionary or any commentary with the original Greek expounded is useless. However they are really having a problem with how to interpret if they don't know Greek.

Now here's some examples of words in the the New Testament that have dual meaning. I would like to discuss some words that can get confused or used to justify a false doctrine. If it wasn't for thorough research on Greek and Hebrew, I don't think the Calvinist scholars who translated the King James Bible would be able to get that translation from Hebrew and Greek to British English of 1611. When you study the Greek, you are bound to be able to understand how the Bible operates than just reading it by the surface.

As said, search the Scriptures! After I spent hours listening to the preaching of Dr. John F. Macarthur of Grace To You, I was inspired to further search the Greek to dispel two heresies namely the "carnal Christian" and "s…

The Use of Images in Worship Defeats God-Given Critical Thinking

The world today is stuck in the foolishness of worshiping graven images.  Almost every religion in the world has it especially the major religions.  Roman Catholicism and its similar offshoots (the Orthodox churches, Aglipayanism, Byzantine, Coptics to name a few), Taoism, Buddhism, Hinduism and Jainism are among the recognized religions that are involved with the worship of images.  They all their usual excuse that, "We are not worshiping the image but the one that is portrayed by the image."  As a former Roman Catholic, actions speak louder than words.  The worship of images actually defeats common sense like it did in Exodus 32, the story of the golden calf.

The story of the Golden Calf in Exodus 32 showed the stupidity of making idols.  Aaron was given in to peer pressure.  He should have known better than to make the idol, he even ridiculously told Moses that the calf came out by accident.  What they did was that the gold that could have been used for the treasury were …

Why the Doctrine of The "Perseverance of the Saints" Is NOT Works Salvation!

It's a huge misconception that the doctrine of the perseverance of the saints is works salvation.  Some who understand the doctrine say it's best called "preservation" than "perseverance" since the perseverance here is the very work of God.  Now I would like to defend my stand against the accusation that I teach salvation by works, because I teach that true faith begets works.  I have noticed how many people today just take verses out of context, there is a lack of verse by verse preaching.  Also, please note that Lordship salvation does not equal "lose your salvation".  The lose your salvation doctrine is salvation by works, it's Arminianism nor does Lordship salvation teach that you lose your salvation every time you sin or do works to get saved... rather it's that Jesus is your Lord of your life because you are now saved and your good works are strong evidence of true conversion.  Good works means to do works with the motive of only gra…

Are We Abusing the Statement "It's God Will" For Our Convenience?

What does God's will mean?  God indeed is in control, He allows and He permits.  God's will or decree has His sovereign will - where He allows and disallows and God's will or command.  You cannot really just keep misusing God's will just as an answer towards everything.  If we define will, it's God's desire or wish, choice or determination.  He Himself has His will which is true, it's God's will.  However we are to be careful that such a statement is not misused and abused.

In what way can we end up making "It's God's will." as a misused and abused statement?  It reminded me of someone who used to be a Roman Catholic but now he's a saved man, who frequently abused the statement when he wasn't saved yet.  While it's true that it's God's will, however it can become a very lazy excuse.  You do not write "Jesus is the answer" to every question in an exam.  God willed the laws of nature which includes scientifi…

"Easy Baptists" Are Insulting Old Fashioned Christianity!

When I look at the bloody history of the Baptist, I can only remember the profound truth that the Church of Jesus Christ was watered by the blood of the saints.  The more the persecution, the more Christianity grew boldly along with the spilled blood of the martyrs.  When I started to read the Foxe's Book of Martyrs, the more I see how the Baptist history was not a glamorous one but a bloody one.  Before the Reformation, the Baptist group of Christians would go down, give the Scripture and they would risk their necks even if it meant death by the Roman Catholic institution or other similar opposition.

Charles Haddon Spurgeon has a tough as nails expository preacher.  He was a great man of God, a Reformed Baptist who was not afraid to call sin as sin.  He was serious about true conversion and false conversion.  He was an infamous opponent to Arminians and Antinomians who had put him in a rock and a hard place situation.  He had proclaimed not an easy Gospel but the Gospel as it sh…

John Calvin and Baptismal Regeneration

Here's a video that you may want to analyze on John Calvin.  Although I don't believe everything on John Calvin's commentaries such as Mary remaining a virgin or that the Antichrist is a dynasty (another erroneous view), but I simply agree with most of Calvinistic doctrine just as other past Baptist preachers like Charles H. Spurgeon and John Gill were also Calvinists and remember, most of the King James translators were Calvinists.  God bless!

Anti-Catholic Conspiracy Theorists Tend to Ignore the Need for Critical Thinking!

Most anti-Catholic conspiracy theorists tend to ignore the need for any critical thinking.  Critical thinking means you have think clearly and rationally.  Conspiracy theorists are stupid especially with how they argue with guilt by association arguments.  Let me remind you that even if I am anti-Catholic but I cannot embrace all the anti-Catholics as my brothers and sisters in Christ because cults do rival each other and there are also anti-Catholic cults that deviate from the Bible's doctrine.  Some anti-Catholic organizations deny many essential Bible doctrines - some of them are Antinomians believing salvation grants a license to sin, some are Arminians that teach the conditional security of the believer or some of them are just plain crazy like the Westboro Baptist movement which is a huge disgrace to the Baptist legacy.

What I have observed is how a lot of conspiracy theorists is that they usually lack logic in their arguments.  The way they write can be so laughably stupid,…

Reflecting On Pastor Paul David Washer's "Your Weakness Should Drive You To God"

It's easy to fret, "Why am I not perfect?" when a Christian stumbles right?  Here's a short message by Pastor Paul David Washer on the issue of your weakness.  When I think about, here's what Apostle Paul had to say in 2 Corninthians 12:7-10 saying, "And lest I should be exalted above measure through the abundance of the revelations, there was given to me a thorn in the flesh, the messenger of Satan to buffet me, lest I should be exalted above measure.  For this thing I besought the Lord thrice, that it might depart from me.  And He said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for My strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.  Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses for Christ's sake: for when I am weak, then am I strong."
Here's one thing you have to recognize.  Christians are not …

It's Not About Church Size, It's About Church Substance!

I have noticed this picture floats around the Internet.  Two rabbits here may represent the two different types of people and the two type of carrots represents the modernistic church and the smaller church that remains conservative to the LORD.  Let us try to explain about the two churches in the illustration of the carrots.
The leafy carrot with less substance represents the modernistic so-called "Christian" church
The first carrot has lots and lots of leaves.  It looks promising to the world.  The modern churches only care about size and they ignore quality.  But looking at the picture, the carrot with lots of leaves on top but when you get to the bottom, there is hardly any substance to it.  The modern churches today usually have plenty of members.  2 Timothy 4:3-4 warns, "For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; And they shall turn away their ears from the…

Denmark's Desire To Ban Currency Is Not Yet The Mark of the Beast

What I can consider is a real problem behind people today is that, even some of the most sound preachers when it comes to soteriology can be so erroneous and sensationalist when it comes to Biblical prophecy.  I remembered how when various wholesale stores popped out left and right like S & R which requires membership before you can buy, some wackos were already shouting, "THE MARK OF THE BEAST IS HERE!" and they might be the same group who shouted, "Rapture will hit on December 21, 2012.  Be ready to meet God!  After that, it will be the start of the Tribulation Period!"  Some people didn't want to apply for social security, a credit card or consider a membership shopping in fear of their damnation.  I remembered how some people I knew said, "Go ahead and become a member of those wholesale stores, don't blame us if the Mark of the Beast gets you and you go to Hell!  As for me, I am staying away from doing my groceries in S & R!"  What wa…

Conspiracy Theorists Usually Bring More Gossip than the Truth!

Why I have dropped conspiracy theories altogether is because it's usually nothing but gossips.  Gossipers only want to make themselves look good and they speak of the fault and failings of others, or reveal potentially embarrassing or shameful details.  Most of the time, it's done for the sake of being good even if it means to exaggerate the truth.  Just notice how gossip compared to the real truth becomes more and more popular.  The same goes with how conspiracy theorists are with their TV programs... they are very quick to raise gossip often mixed with sensationalism just to gain an audience.  Worse, some of them even quote from the Bible which is strongly against gossip.  Verses like Proverbs 11:12-13, 18:7-8, 20:19, 21:23 and 1 Timothy 4:12-13 are usually avoided while bragging Proverbs 28:1 ignoring Proverbs 27:12... a lion may be bold it does not make itself immediately known before it attacks its prey.

I have noticed how most conspiracy theorists don't really care a…

Dealing With Babes With Christ In Your Church

It would be important to really know how to deal with babes in Christ.  What we must understand is that although Christians are saved from sin, there is still the flesh nature that remains.  1 Corinthians 3:1 has Paul calling the new believers as sarkinois (fleshen) because they were still new, and even if they have abandoned a sinful life but there's always sin in their life, it must be dealt with as hindrance but never the final end of their ministry as they cannot completely fall away.  They were yet to fully understand the full spiritual concept.  Although they already had a sense of right and wrong, they were starting to live right but there were still other issues that were hindering them from being more fruitful.  They started bearing fruit but they had some lifestyle issues namely strife and division within their assembles.

Whether you like it or not, God does not make a Christian pure and sinless the moment they are saved for a reason.  Although true believers are expect…
