Ray Comfort's Quote Against Non-Soulwinning Churches

While I am simply praying to God that I can get a copy of "The Evidence Bible", I felt compelled to share this inspiring quote by Ray Comfort.  There's a whole world out there that's dying in their sins, many people who need to get saved from sin by the grace of God.  But why are many churches today not doing any missions or soulwinning?  If God doesn't get happy if Christians aren't doing any form of soulwinning or evangelism such as one on one or passing Gospel tracts, how much more if a local church isn't doing any soulwinning at all.

His comparison between emergency vehicles and evangelism stresses the urgency of missions.  The Church's mission is to send evangelism to a dying world just as emergency vehicles must send their dying patients to the hospital to be treated as soon as possible.  2 Corinthians 6:2 says that today is the day of salvation so why should people delay?  There's a whole world of people dying and according to statistics, at least 6,000 people die per hour and a good portion of that population goes to Hell.  If a local church does not evangelize then it's really laughing off the possibility of people who are going to Hell.  As I remembered Pastor Ruben L. Lumagbas Jr. said, "It's not funny if so and so will go to Hell." because the torments of Hell is forever.

It's stupid to have a church receive tithes and offerings from its members but none of that money is used for mission fields.  It just reminded me of some Baptist churches that took a long time before they got air-conditioned because missions for the lost souls of this world must come first.  As a prayer that I might say once was, "Lord, I don't care if this church can't afford to get an airconditioning system as long as Thy will be done, Thy Gospel be spread."  Any church that does not evangelize does not deserve your tithe and offerings because God ordained them for His work, not for the purpose of turning the local church into a social hall.
