The Gospel's Clarity Does Not Change Based on One's Spiritual Eyesight

With this quote by John Calvin that says that the brightness of the sun is not diminished by the blind, the same goes when it comes to the blindness of unbelievers when it comes to the Gospel.  2 Corinthians 4:4 says that Satan has blinded the minds of unbelievers to prevent them from seeing the true Gospel of Jesus Christ.  When that happens, Satan also sets the blind to lead the blind hoping to take them to Hell.  It takes a realization of one's own spiritual blindless to be freed from it.

Many people say, "I can see." and yes, they can physically see but their spiritual eyes as mentioned in John 9:41.  The guilt of so many people remain because they claim that they know spiritual truth but in reality they are blind to it.  Even when the Gospel message is clear in its meaning, they are still missing the point because Satan puts stumblingblocks.  When they are not saved but think that they are working for God and not Satan, it's Satan's deception at work.  These people need intervention because they are spiritually blinded by Satan.  There is no room for any Burger King theology or the feel good "gospel" - it must be the clear Gospel of the severity of sin and the Lord Jesus Christ as that Savior from sin.

The message of the Bible never changes just because people are spiritually blind.  It must not be adjusted to them because the truth of Scripture never changes.  Most people only want the convenient truth but not the inconvenient truth.  People who are blind need to be led to the proper path and not to be further deceived by another blind man.  When the blind man leads the blind man then both are destined to fall into disaster.  In the spiritual sense, false preachers are the blind leading the blind.  It takes a man who can see clearly to lead the blind person to safety.
