A Non-Soulwinning Church Is a DEAD CHURCH!

It's a shame if a church calls itself a Christian church but it's not soulwinning. It's a problem when there's no soulwinning. The problem itself isn't Calvinism but Hyper-Calvinism. Some of the best evangelists in the past were Calvinists like Jonathan Edwards and Charles H. Spurgeon. They believed in the doctrine of election and went out soulwinning in hopes of helping find the elect. But the problem is when a church doesn't do soulwinning. That church isn't necessary hyper-Calvinist but it can just be an ordinary dead church.

Why they should be called dead churches is because they have no concern for lost souls. It's stupid to have a church and not do any soulwinning. The great commission was already in Matthew 28:18-20 saying:
And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen.

Christians are tasked to evangelize all nations. Mark 16:15 says:
And He said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the Gospel to every creature.

The order is obvious that Christians must preach the Gospel. Any church must do soulwinning to reach out the lost. It's not enough to have the right Gospel. One must also really go out and warn them. What's so tragic today is that we have a sick church in a dying world. When a church gets indifferent about soulwinning one must question if there's an abundance of false converts inside that church. Because if a person has no concern for lost souls at all then there's a high chance that person isn't even saved to start with. While Christians can fall into momentary seasons of carnality and barren state. Although they don't live like the rest of the world but it's easy to cower in fear after one gets too confident about one's Christianity. Peter denied Jesus thrice just moments after the former was swallowed up by his pride. Likewise, some churches can end up dead for a momentary season when indifference happens.

If a church isn't soulwinning the it's a hospital that remains indifferent about people who need help. The Christian church is meant to be a hospital for repentant sinners. But the problem is if they don't warn people about sin and judgment then how can it be effective? If the church has become a social hall then it's already a dead church. It ceases to become a church. That institution no longer serves the Church, the Body of Christ. It has just become a social hall that has accommodated false converts instead of a place for Christians to worship.
