Celebrating Eid El Adha Cannot Wash Away Sins

It's something that the first of September starts off with the Islamic feast of sacrifice. It should break any Christian's heart to see how Eid El Adha is celebrated year after year depending on the cycle of Islamic calendar. It shows how often Muslims are relying on blood sacrifices with the hope for the forgiveness of sins. This should be a message for every Muslim to hear about the fact that the blood of bulls and goats cannot wash away sins.
Hebrews 9:11-14
But Christ being come an High Priest of good things to come, by a greater and more perfect tabernacle, not made with hands, that is to say, not of this building; neither by the blood of goats and calves, but by His own blood he entered in once into the Holy Place, having obtained eternal redemption for us. For if the blood of bulls and of goats, and the ashes of an heifer sprinkling the unclean, sanctifieth to the purifying of the flesh: how much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without spot to God, purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?

Here's the real truth that Muslims need to hear. Jesus is not just a prophet and He is the Son of God. He had offered the ultimate blood sacrifice that bulls and goats can't remove. The blood of bulls and goats offered is just symbolic. They were there as a constant reminder that the wages of sin is death. But Jesus paid it all and ended all the sacrifice of clean, unblemished animals because He is the Lamb of God. He became that sacrificial lamb to set people free from the power of sin.

The truth of the matter is that the yearly sacrifices do nothing nor are they necessary. Jesus offered His life on the cross once and for all (Hebrews 9:28, 10:14). There is only one sacrifice needed for the forgiveness of sins and that's the Lord Jesus Christ. No amount of bloody sacrifices from animals will ever gain forgiveness. Only the blood of Jesus Christ has been paid as a payment for the penalty of sin.

It is my sincere prayer that Muslims reading this entry will realize that their celebrations of Eid El Adha isn't doing any good. They need Jesus Christ and not more animal sacrifices. The animal sacrifices have been long abolished. The curtain that separated the Holy of Holies from the public has been torn. How sad should it be that Islam should keep the precious Muslims blinded from the very truth that they need to hear.

For the Muslims, here's the words of Jesus that you can certainly trust:
John 9:35-38
Jesus heard that they had cast Him out; and when He had found him, He said unto him, Dost thou believe on the Son of God? He answered and said, Who is He, Lord, that I might believe on Him? And Jesus said unto him, Thou hast both seen Him, and it is he that talketh with thee. And he said, Lord, I believe. And he worshiped Him.
