Ethical Concerns With the Biochip Technology

There's the ongoing trend of biochipping people in Sweden. While this is not yet the mark of the Beast (and people who have the biochip right now can still be saved) - some prophecy scholars don't want to deny that this technology may soon fall into the hands of the One World Government. Right now, this is still a private company but time will come when this technology can be used by the New World Order after the Rapture. Remember, the mark of the Beast is not issued until the Rapture has taken place.

I don't deny that there's some convenience in the biochip technology. Have a missing pet or child? The biochip can help. However, I'd like to address the bigger harm than good biochips can have. For one, there's the concern about privacy on what it will collect. This isn't like the smartphone, smartwatch, or any mobile device - the biochip is chipped right into the right hand or the forehead! This would mean that the body is now attached to a computer. It's not like your credit cards or national ID. This is something that really is slowly but surely making you part of a computer rather than you controlling it! Having Radio Frequency Identification is both wonderful and horrible. It's horrible when it's in the hands of evil people especially if that person happens to be either an antichrist or the Antichrist!

Here is an interesting take by Kevin Warwick as revealed by BBC News. He says that it should be a major concern when companies refuse to hire people without biochips. He himself had a voluntary biochipping to himself. Again, Warwick has not yet taken the mark of the Beast in Revelation because the Antichrist hasn't shown up yet. You can still pray Warwick gets saved before it's too late. In fact, I still think the real problem of people who receive the mark of the Beast is their refusal to repent - not that they were simply branded with 666. Notice that through Revelation - the people who received the mark of the Beast refused to repent.

The late Dr. Vernon McGee had this to say about the mark of the Beast in his "Thru the Bible Commentary":
He (the False Prophet, emphasis mine) is now wedding religion and business for you will have to have the mark of the Beast to do business. In John's Day soldiers were branded by their commanders, slaves were branded by their masters, and those attahced to certain pagan temples were branded by the mark of the god or goddess whome they served. Ptolemy Philopater had all Jews in Alexandria marked with the ivy leaf, which was the simple of Dionysius. In our day a newspaper columnist who wrote an article entitled "Living by the Numbers" deplored the fact that we have to carry so many different cards in our wallets and concluded with this paragraph: 
It woud simplify matters if the government would assign each of us a single all-purpose number which we would have tattooed across the forehead ands pare us the trouble of carrying all these cards.
Don't misunderstand me. This is not the fulfillment of prophecy, but it sure shows how prophecy can come to pass. What is the mark of the Beast? It is not given to us to know. We are not told, but that has not kept many expositors from telling us what it is! 

But we're certainly living in the age of paranoia. People are slowly but surely going paranoid for their safety. They would be willing to give up their privacy for convenience and safety. The biochip is just a stepping stone to that. I can't be too sure what the mark of the Beast will be in its final form. Radiowave technology and Global Positioning System (GPS) technology are now getting stronger and better. While these technologies can help but having them at the hands of Satan's minions is definitely not a good sign. The Antichrist holding all the world's technology at his monopoly will eventually lead the world to its intended destruction. Man has unfortunately used God's gift of science to try and become God rather than honor God. Sad but true as science at the hands of godless men is a terrible thing. Science is both wonderful and horrible. Have a wonderful Christian using the gifts of science to help others then it's wonderful. Have an unbeliever who only wants to help others with science - it's still somewhat wonderful. However, have men without conscience hold the power of technology and mankind is doomed. That's where biochips are heading!

I'm not saying you should discard everything with microchips. Rather, I'm talking about refusing the biochip (even if not's yet the mark of the Beast) due it its ethical concerns. You can still have any microchips in your computers and smartphones but never allow your body to become a part of a computer system. You can have your biometrics recorded in computers but never let your body become part of a computer system. Remember that technology like money makes a good servant but certainly not a good master. Also, you need to remember that the biochips of today are still not yet linked to religion until the One World Government takes place. Not every person with a biochip implant today is guaranteed to worship the Antichrist when he finally appears - that's when the real mark of the Beast will be set. The mark of the Beast is mostly linked with worship and non-believers will certainly be refused the mark.
