It's very easy to criticize Roman Catholicism for the charges of sodomy done by priests raping boys. However, it's probably very easy to forget that LGBT churches are now on the rise and have infiltrated evangelical churches. I heard of Alabama Baptist Church having the issue of a female pastor performing a lesbian wedding. It would be stupid to keep raising up the issue of homosexual priests and nuns but not to target homosexual pastors and female church authorities. Make no mistake - LGBT churches are on the rise and the acronym means Lesbian-Gay-Bisexual-Transgender. All these are an abomination before God. I remembered reading the book "Hard to Believe" by John F. MacArthur where it presents the hard truths about the Gospel. Why is the Gospel unpopular? Just reading Chapter 2 and Chapter 3 reveal hard truths that can't be easily swallowed. The idea that the sinless Son of God our Lord Jesus Christ would die for man's sins by crucifixion is repugnant for both Jews and Gentiles. The very word "cross" from what I heard was even a taboo word. People who were crucified were considered to be the lowest of the low. The idea that an innocent man how much more the sinless Son of God would allow Himself to be crucified was a baffling idea. The very idea that He died because mankind isn't basically good is even worse. The very message of Christ on the cross and conquering it because you're a lost sinner is abhorrent. Although the article I found about  Andy Stanley as he's guilty of trashing expository preaching  was last  May 8, 2015 -  I found it to be an interesting read. Here's an answer that Stanley gave that can make any sound Christian (whether pastor or regular church member) dizzy just reading it: Guys that preach verse-by-verse through books of the Bible– that is just cheating. It’s cheating because that would be easy, first of all. That isn’t how you grow people. No one in the Scripture modeled that. There’s not one example of that. As the Lenten season came to a close today - I'm afraid that many people today will go back to their worldly living. I remembered the cycle that says you sin from Monday to Friday, go to confession on a Saturday, attend Mass on Sunday and the cycle goes on and on. It's no wonder why Matthew 7:21-23 exposes the true nature of false converts as workers of wickedness. A believer in Jesus Christ may not be perfect, they will struggle with sin but they will never enjoy sin for long because they aren't unsaved. Hebrews 12:5-7 says that God will chastise those He loves. There's a true saying that says, "Only false converts are unsaved enough to think that they have a license to sin. True converts don't want to live the same life anymore!" It never stops to bother me up to no end that sometimes the biggest problem in the Baptist churches are Baptists themselves. As preposterous as it sounds but it's true. There's the recent plague of easy believism. I thought of how often salvation ends up like this, "Just pray a prayer and you're saved." It's no wonder why the late Dr. Leonard Ravenhill announced that the sinner's prayer has sent more people into Hell than the bars of America. It's because many people have become false converts. As I was doing some Bible reading today - I felt that I should write about the very dangerous doctrine of Balaam. The influence of Balaam goes beyond Numbers 22-24 which talk about the prophet for profit. He knew that Israel was God's chosen nation yet he chose to go against it for the sake of money. Balak means devastator and Balaam means not of the people. As a soothsayer and an unsaved man - it's obvious that he would care more about money than God. The trend of the rise of pro-homosexual "Christian" churches or where you have that incident where Alabama "Baptist" Church dared to have a female minister officiate a wedding between two women in their assembly. It's really find it crazy how a heresy that says you can receive Jesus Christ as your Savior but submitting to Him as Lord is completely optional. That idea left me blank-faced because of the fact that Romans 10:9 says this one truth: That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. Did you read that? Confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus Christ. It's really similar to confessing that Jesus is Lord. If your Jesus is not Lord then you are not saved. I find the idea that Jesus should just be my personal Savior but not my personal Lord and Savior. That would make every Christian the personal servant of their Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
