Crucifixion and Stoning Didn't Stop the Early Christians From Loving Their Enemies

While loving your enemies does not mean condoning to their wrongs, it means loving them enough to warn them about sin, Hell and judgment telling them the truth that Jesus Christ is the only way to God the Father. Telling the truth and telling people that they are wrong is part of the Christian life but it is also important to examine one's motives in telling the truth. Do you tell the truth because you love the person enough with the desire to see them saved or do you just do it to look high and mighty, offend the person and continue to antagonize with other people at a very personal level? You can always rebuke loving but you can never love without rebuking as 1 Corinthians 13:6 says that love does not rejoice in wrong but rejoices in the truth.
