Make no mistake that the Second Vatican Council is indeed the headquarters of the ecumenical movement. It's been observed since the Second Vatican Council that various Popes have already been involved in reaching out to unite world religions. The celebration of the 500 years of the Reformation last October 31, 2017 doesn't mean that the Vatican won't continue to celebrate the Counter-Reformation. It's the 500th year of the Reformation and maybe one thing to emphasize is love for one's enemies. This can be a very touchy subject because of the issue of pride. The Reformation's history has been met with so much persecution. When the Reformation came then so did the Counter-Reformation. The Inquisition tried to stop the Reformation. Ignatius of Loyola established the Jesuit Order as part of the Counter-Reformation. It's a huge battle for the truth. The Roman Catholic institution has its long fraudulent history of claiming to be the "One True Church that was founded in 33 A.D. - Holy, Catholic and Apostolic". The word catholic is a synonym for universal but the disciples were never first called Catholics in Antioch but Christians (Acts 11:26). It's annoying how one can see in social media platforms people who are asking God to bless certain politically correct people. I'm not surprised at how many of these people are Roman Catholics, pseudo-Evangelicals that belong to so-called Christian assembles (but are actually ecumenically yoked and/or teaching the prosperity "gospel"), religious sexual deviants (such as homosexuals who are religious Roman Catholics or belong to pro-homosexual churches) and other religious but lost people who want to propagate political correctness.
