The Possibility That the Doctrine of Reincarnation Seeks to Justify the Sin of Homosexuality
Homosexuality is indeed another controversial topic. The doctrine of reincarnation teaches that people can take several forms from animals to different forms as humans. This may even teach that a certain someone used to be of the opposite sex.
Buddhism has Ksitigarba who was said that he was actually a woman (in some traditions) in one of his past lives and that Avalokitesvara referred to as the goddess of mercy was said to be once a man in one of her past lives. Hinduism also teaches that Vishnu also manifested in many male and female forms. This is just among a few instances that may ultimately justify homosexuality as acceptable. Although Dalai Llama may not approve of homosexual marriages for Buddhists but he hypocritically says it's okay for society to practice it.
You may even get something as stupid as, "You can't help it! Homosexuals were once a different gender in one past life ago." No, that's just stupid. Hebrews 9:27 says that once you're dead you're passed to judgment. Homosexuals can't help their situation because they're fallen and sinful. Fortunately 1 Corinthians 6:9-11 gives the remedy that it's through Jesus Christ that anybody can be transformed from unrighteousness to righteousness.
If you're a homosexual who believes in reincarnation, I plead with you right now to repent of your sin and turn to Jesus Christ for salvation. Receive Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior and He will save you from your sinful lifestyles!

Here's an interesting excerpt from a New Age article called "Homosexuality and Past Lives":
Other views or interpretations for homosexuality within a past life context but ones that I do not feel are particularly probable is firstly that confusion can occur when a soul changes over from a life as a member of one sex to that of the other. Souls reincarnate not only into different cultures and periods, but also as both men and women, during their many lives. The reincarnating soul could bring with it many of the former characteristics from past personalities and, when these are very strong; they could easily overshadow the new personality.
The sex change may be further complicated if, in the former life, the person had been very active sexually and strongly attached to sexual gratification.
It`s an interesting thought.
