The Foolishness of Celebrating the Chinese Ghost Month

Well, it's the Chinese Ghost Month according to the 1st day of the seventh lunar month - with the 15th day of said lunar month to be the Chinese Ghost Festival. Here is what the Chinese Fortune Calendar website says about the said festival: The Ghost Month is the seventh lunar month of Chinese Lunar Calendar. The 15th lunar day of the 7th lunar month is the Chinese Ghost Festival. The Chinese formal name of the Ghost Festival is Chung-Yuan . The first lunar day of 7th lunar month is on August 1, 2019. August 15, 2019 is the 15th lunar day, which is the Chinese Ghost Festival. The first lunar day of 8th lunar month is on August 30, 2030. Therefore, the Ghost Month is from August 1 to August 29 in the China time zone.  Many Chinese families have both Buddhism and Taoism religions. The spirits jailed in the Hell are called ghosts. The folklore says the ghosts have one-month parole and will travel to the towns in the 7th lunar month every year. People have better to feast them. P...

Some Unsaved Indians Ingest Cow Body Waste Believing It's Good for Them When It Really Isn't

I'm amazed at how stupid people can be without Christ. Whether it'd be pro-homosexuality people (especially atheists) who see nothing wrong with the disgusting activities same-sex couples do or even ingesting body waste believing they are supposedly beneficial. Truth is, ingesting body waste is not beneficial. If it were then they need to tell me why would any good doctor have a separate waste disposal system for body waste, treating them as infectious material? Now, it's no surprise when I heard that some Indian Hindus have gone so far as to even drink cow's urine and eat cow's dung or use them as supposed "miracle substances" - which is just far more disgusting. Hinduism has so many branches because there are so many accounts regarding the gods and goddesses. Even the gender of one particular character can vary from sect to sect - which makes it all together very confusing . It's because Babylon Religion is nothing more than conflicting stories. Wh...

Buddhist Temples Participating in the Idolatry Called Sinulog Isn't All Too Surprising in These Last Days

Image
Sinulog deserves to have the word "sin" in it because it's sinful. The truth of Sinulog is that the Sto. Nino will always be an image of non-growing faith. Now, should it be surprising that in these last days to see Buddhist temples participating in Sinulog? It shouldn't be too surprising considering that the relations of the Vatican with Buddhism has been going strong for years. Check out for pictures of the late John Paul II meeting the Pope of Tibetan Buddhism who is called the Dalai Lama. You can also see resigned Benedict XVI meeting the Dalai Lama. Pope Francis has even met various Buddhist teachers. How could these men even claim to be the successors of blessed St. Peter? A Buddhist nun from Taiwan named Yung Ling has also stressed that she would bow down and adore the image of the Sto. Nino every time she visited the Basilica in Cebu City. It's even emphasized by her that bowing down to the images of other religions is a symbol of gratitude for thei...

Praying For Someone's Peaceful Reincarnation is Useless

November 2 is considered as All Soul's Day in the Roman Catholic calendar. It's the time when people must remember to pray for the eternal repose of the souls who have died in Christ because they must still pay for their remaining sins in Purgatory. However, Purgatory is not the only goldmine of religion that one has to deal with. While Purgatory is not about having a second chance after death but it's still a sinister goldmine. Some major religions in the world today teach reincarnation such as Hinduism and Buddhism. What is the concept of reincarnation? It's the doctrine that says that the dead will be reborn in one form or another. It's also linked to the doctrine of karma. It's said that a person can be reincarnated into several forms. It's even said that somebody can be reincarnated into different genders such as a man can be reincarnated into a woman or vice versa. The very concept of reincarnation is taught that after a person spends a certain time ...

Avalokitesvara's Evolution From Tammuz to Semiramis

Image
One of the most bizarre things about pagan religion is the teaching of reincarnation. Some gods in later religions would go from male to female depending on which incarnation. I believe that this is a result of one truth: as Babylon Religion evolves there's a whole lot of conflicting stories that it's really one serious mess! In one region of the world to another the cycle of paganism would depend on the movement of either the sun or the moon. Regardless, it was paganism. While Buddhism may claim to be non-theistic but action speaks louder than words. In fact, many of its branches are becoming inclusive. You could see Buddhists teaming up with various religions including Roman Catholicism. Let's take a look at the god (or goddess) known as Avalokitesvara. The name means "The one who looks down with compassion." Earlier Sankrit says "the lord who looks from above" or "he who looks from above". Yet overtime, this god became a goddess. It seem...

The Possibility That the Doctrine of Reincarnation Seeks to Justify the Sin of Homosexuality

Homosexuality is indeed another controversial topic. The doctrine of reincarnation teaches that people can take several forms from animals to different forms as humans. This may even teach that a certain someone used to be of the opposite sex. Here's an interesting excerpt from a New Age article called " Homosexuality and Past Lives ": Other views or interpretations for homosexuality within a past life context but ones that I do not feel are particularly probable is firstly that confusion can occur when a soul changes over from a life as a member of one sex to that of the other. Souls reincarnate not only into different cultures and periods, but also as both men and women, during their many lives. The reincarnating soul could bring with it many of the former characteristics from past personalities and, when these are very strong; they could easily overshadow the new personality .  The sex change may be further complicated if, in the former life, the person had bee...

Sorry, Dalai Lama Doesn't Truly Understand True Religion

Image
When Jesus said in John 14:6 that He's the only Way, the Truth and the Life and no man comes to the Father but Him, He wasn't joking at all. There's one thing you can be certain. No highest god in any pagan religion is God the Father. No, God the Father in the Christian view cannot be compromised or compared with the highest gods of polytheistic religion. Dalai Llama is right to say that true religion consists of having a good heart but does he understand it? I'm afraid that Dalai Llama doesn't understand what having a good heart is. Pagan religions may teach man's fallen state while others deny original sin. Buddhism teaches man is in a fallen state but teaches no grace. It teaches self-achievement towards enlightenment. Buddhism is all about works salvation. I don't think Dalai Llama understands the reality of the wickedness of the human heart. Jeremiah 17:9 says that the heart is wicked above all things. If the heart is so wicked and man is so wicked,...

Some Polytheistic Religions Worship Jesus as the "Unknown God"

Image
There's the problem today that Jesus Christ today is worshiped but is He worshiped the right way? I have noticed how images of who they call as "Jesus" are in the temples of polytheistic religions. Either He is worshipped as another god, a good teacher, a saint but never as the Son of God who's the only Way, the Truth and the Life. It's very upsetting to see how the Lord Jesus Christ who is the Son of God is still getting the same worship from people today like the men of Athens back in the days of Paul's ministry. Acts 17:22-31 says, "For as I passed by, and beheld your devotions, I found an altar with this inscription, To The Unknown God. Whom therefore ye ignorantly worship, him declare I unto you. God that made the world and all things therein, seeing that he is Lord of heaven and earth, dwelleth not in temples made with hands; neither is worshiped with men's hands, as though He needed any thing, seeing He giveth to all life, and breath, ...

Christian Buddhism Exposed

Image
I was completely not surprised at the hypocrisy at how some Jesuit parishes have decided to hold a seminar that Christian Buddhism is a heresy yet they have ignored some facts. That is they might want to take a good look at the secular media and the Vatican-Tibet relations. That during the reign of the late John Paul II and the retired Benedict XVI, there were various inter-religious dialogues between the Vatican and Tibet. Obviously this is where the Roman Pontiff, the Pope of Catholicism meets the Dalai Llama, the Pope of Buddhism. The Buddhist network Da Ai also commemorated John Paul II as an honorable man of the faith for that and featured his various dialogues with the Dalai Llama. In fact, the Vatican II has already made it clear that it's ecumenism now. Anybody can be saved according to the new Vatican Council if they live a good life by their own merit. That is utterly blasphemy. The Bible warns in Matthew 7:21-23 that there will be many "worldly good pe...

Hinduism, Buddhism and the Seven Headed SERPENT

Image
Satan really has gotten glory hasn't he?  In fact in Revelation 12:9, Satan is called both a dragon and a SERPENT and that same chapter, Satan is pictured to be a dragon with seven heads.  Notice these pictures below... Buddha protected by a seven headed Naga. Hinduism and a seven headed snake. And you tell me not to criticize other people's religion?!  People are out there worshiping false gods and animals instead of the real true God.  Clearly one way or another, Satan gets your mind off from God!

Other Buddhist Doctrines That Prove Its Incompatibility to Christianity

Image
While Buddhist philosophy has some words of wisdom, outreach projects, the teaching of living harmony with others which are admirable to the human eye but these teachings show how incompatible Buddhism is with true Christianity: 1.) The Buddhist doctrine of self-reliance teaches that when the Buddha was meditating to gain enlightenment, no gods came to reveal any hidden secrets. The Buddha said in his teachings, "I have never had any teacher or divinity to teach me or tell me how to gain enlightenment. I achieved supreme wisdom by my own effort, energy, knowledge and purity." This is none other than the dangerous heresy of self-reliance. What does the Bible say? Quite different. The prophets didn't get it by themselves as fallen human beings in need for redemption. Buddhism apparently teaches that the gods are indifferent. Psalm 118:8-9 declares it is better to trust in God than put confidence in man. Proverbs 3:5 says, "Trust in the LORD with...

Buddhism and Ecumenism

I am really saddened to how people are deceived into trying to establish their own righteousness while being ignorant of the righteousness of God. While I do not assume anybody who is an unbeliever is automatically sinful in their lifestyles by human standards. H owever,  no matter how much good they do like their feeding programs to the poor, they are all but filthy rags (Isaiah 64:6) and it only takes one sin to violate the Law of God (James 2:10-11). I do agree with some of Buddhism's practices like throwing away materials that entice sin like drugs and pornography - to believe in a religion rooted in idolatry and works salvation is definitely a no-no. I live life right not because I do it to keep myself saved, no I do good works only because I am saved. I refuse to take credit to what good works I do because it's God that works in me (Philippians 2:13). Buddhism is also rooted in self-righteousness than God's righteousness. My righteousness is from God and I only live ...

Former Buddhist Student Leader Becomes Christian

Editor’s Note: Samuel Autman, a journalism student at the University of Missouri in Columbia, was once a student chapter leader in a growing sect of Buddhism known as Nichiren Shoshu American. Nichiren, which emphasizes world peace, boasts a membership of 17 million world-wide with half a million in America. I’m Samuel Autman, a 22-year-old native of St. Louis. I want to share how the true and living God delivered me from Buddhism. I had searched high and low for the “perfect teaching,” until finally I discovered a group of Buddhists who seemed happy. This sect believed that by chanting a specific phrase everyday, humans can experience true happiness. I attended one of their meetings and discovered that they were average people who chanted this single phrase rhythmically. The leaders told me to not believe in the chanting, only to try it and see what kind of results I got. I was instructed to make a list of things and chant to see if it worked. This was the measure th...

Ex-Buddhist Monk in Myanmar (Burma)

Introduction  The story that follows is simply a translation of a taped testimony from a man with a life-changing story. It is not an interview or a biography, but simply the words from the man himself. Different people react in different ways when they hear this story. Some are inspired, some skeptical, a few will mock and ridicule, while some others have even been filled with rage and anger, convinced these words are the ravings of a mad man or an elaborate deception. Some Christians have opposed the story simply because the radical and miraculous events described herein do not fit their feeble image of an Almighty God. We were first made aware of this story from several Burmese church leaders who shared it with us. These leaders had looked into the story and had not found any suggestion of it being a hoax. It was with this in mind that we decided to step out and circulate the story. We do not do so for any monetary gain, or with a motivation of self-promotion. We just want to ...

Reincarnation Debunked

Reincarnation is the basic teaching that, after a man dies they will be reborn in another form such as another man or another animal, a tree or whatever after having to pass through Purgatory or even Hell- this belief is prevalent in major religious movements like Buddhism and Hinduism to name a few. However the Bible declares no such nonsense. Hebrews 9:27 says, " For as it is appointed unto man ONCE to die but after this the judgment ." So where does reincarnation fall down flat? Here are some of the impracticalities of the belief of reincarnation and how silly it really is: 1.) Reincarnation means an endless cycle denying the end of the physical and going into the eternal. Well, for instance, according to several world religions that after a person has reached a certain level of enlightenment but has yet to reach the level of Nirvana, he/she must return to the physical plane to be reborn or in the case, the wicked are sometimes allowed to reincarnate ...

Why Jesus is Better than Buddha

Image
Why is Jesus better than Buddha? Here's why and we hope if you're a Buddhist, you will find Jesus is FOR ALL (John 3:16, Romans 10:9-13) not just for the Westerners. We hope you will CEASE from praying to any carved image and make Jesus Christ your Lord and Savior. Just as said, John 14:6 says, "Jesus saith unto him, I am the Way, the Truth and the Life. No man cometh unto the Father EXCEPT through Me ." Reasons: Buddha was born on 563 B.C. but Jesus is the Alpha and the Omega because He has been the eternal Son of the Father with whom He is co-eternal and co-equal with the Holy Spirit. Jesus walked on land, air and water.  He also stopped the waves. Buddha did neither. Buddha said, "Come and see." while Jesus said, "Believe and you will see."  Jesus never called anyone to blind faith but rather, strengthened their faith with results. Buddha said, "Death must be expected." to a woman with a dead s...
