Some Polytheistic Religions Worship Jesus as the "Unknown God"

There's the problem today that Jesus Christ today is worshiped but is He worshiped the right way? I have noticed how images of who they call as "Jesus" are in the temples of polytheistic religions. Either He is worshipped as another god, a good teacher, a saint but never as the Son of God who's the only Way, the Truth and the Life. It's very upsetting to see how the Lord Jesus Christ who is the Son of God is still getting the same worship from people today like the men of Athens back in the days of Paul's ministry.

Acts 17:22-31 says, "For as I passed by, and beheld your devotions, I found an altar with this inscription, To The Unknown God. Whom therefore ye ignorantly worship, him declare I unto you. God that made the world and all things therein, seeing that he is Lord of heaven and earth, dwelleth not in temples made with hands; neither is worshiped with men's hands, as though He needed any thing, seeing He giveth to all life, and breath, and all things; and hath made of one blood all nations of men for to dwell on all the face of the earth, and hath determined the times before appointed, and the bounds of their habitation; that they should seek the Lord, if haply they might feel after Him, and find Him, though He be not far from every one of us: for in Him we live, and move, and have our being; as certain also of your own poets have said, For we are also His offspring. Forasmuch then as we are the offspring of God, we ought not to think that the Godhead is like unto gold, or silver, or stone, graven by art and man's device. And the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commandeth all men every where to repent: because He hath appointed a day, in the which He will judge the world in righteousness by that man whom He hath ordained; whereof He hath given assurance unto all men, in that He hath raised Him from the dead."

Below are some pictures of such ignorance. It still fits well that people still worship God in ignorance. As Paul says that He cannot be worshiped in the form of an idol.

The movement called "Christian Buddhism" tries to "reconcile" both Buddhism and Christianity as if Jesus was just a man like Buddha. Although both Jesus and Buddha taught some things in common but there's major differences. Buddha was all come and see, Jesus said believe and you will see. Buddha taught work on your salvation while Jesus said salvation is for free. There's no way that both Jesus and Buddha can be reconciled in terms of theology.

A pagan temple also includes Jesus as an honorary founder of one of the world's biggest religions. To no surprise, the late Teresa of Calcutta said that you can enter into Heaven regardless of your religion where she said just be a good Hindu, a good Muslim, a good Buddhist, etc. But Jesus said in John 14:6 that He's the only Way to Heaven.

Some Taoist Temple places this image of the Catholic Jesus as one of the important gods or saints in their pantheon of their religion. Not only is making an image of Jesus forbidden but to teach that He's just another god is total blasphemy. What happened to the first and second commandment? There is no other God but God and to worship Him together with pagan gods violates the first commandment. Second, God cannot and should not be worshipped with the aid of a graven image.

Taoist Temple in Hong Kong also honors Muhammad, Lao Tzu, Buddha, Confucius and Jesus as all the same and equal. Well here's news for those idolaters. All their other four founders are DEAD and Jesus Christ is risen from the grave. Jesus doesn't belong to a pagan temple. He's seated at the right hand of the Father. I've even heard of some Buddhist and Hindu temples that honor Jesus as another god but never as the way Christianity portrays Jesus. Worse, some syncretic worshipers even dare call or equate the Jade Emperor or Yu Huang Tai Di (at the center) as "God the Father". No,  the Jade Emperor he is not the God of the Bible. He's merely another counterpart of Moloch, Baal, Zeus or Hubal and definitely not the ruler of the Universe. Also, many of these highest gods in various pagan societies weren't exactly holy like Jehovah God. Some of them are very sexually immoral such as Zeus who sleeps around with mortal women or some of them are polygamists.

Images of the late John Paul II, the former Benedict XVI and Pope Francis hand in hand with other idolatrous religions aside from their own, I'm not surprised. When the late John Paul II was alive, he engaged in religious dialogue with Dalai Llama and Hindu leaders in the false notion that all religions lead to God when they don't. Many of the Jesuits today are engaged openly in ecumenism. The idea of another Jesus getting into pagan temples might as well be a good sign that the Antichrist is coming very soon. Even so, come Lord Jesus!

The reasons why Christians are called to attack false religion is not because they hate people but because they love people more than enough to tell them the truth. If Christians didn't love people they would not risk their necks to tell people that they're going to Hell. This Jesus is not the Jesus of the Bible but another Jesus that leads people to Hell.
