Reasons People Have for Rejecting the Lord Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior

Please DO NOT make the mistake that guy made above!

So far it would be wise to discuss some reasons (and more to come) to why people reject the simple Gospel of Jesus Christ.  Here are some reasons:

False religion is the NUMBER ONE killer. 

Many people today have their religion but not Christ. That religion is FALSE if it goes against the Word of God. Jesus warned in John 5:43, "I am come in My Father's Name and ye receive Me not: if another shall come in his own name, him ye will receive.". That's why Christians definitely have EVERY reason to condemn EVERY religion that opposes Christianity and telling their followers the good news in Jesus Christ. Should it be mentioned that false religion has become a lucrative business? Many false religions are involved in the sales of occult items like graven idols and lucky charms, indulgences (prayers for the dead) and even dangerous books. Also, people jump from one cult to another in hopes of getting prestige. Many people enter into popular cults to gain image like how Roman Catholicism and Islam appeal to many of the wealthy businessmen. Added into this is the fear of being disowned by the family as well. Many pray a "sinner's prayer" but they do not even know the Gospel and are still trusting in their works.

It's all about self-righteousness. 

Romans 10:3 says, "For being ignorant of God's righteousness and going about to establish their own righteousness have not submitted themselves unto the righteousness of God.". And I have to think about it- works salvation is also catering to the altruism or cafeteria morality. Works salvation does VARY from religion to religion after all after all. Islam teaches that suicide bombing is good work and sadly most Muslims don't realize that. Catholicism teaches to venerate images is good work. Most religions teach salvation by works but have conflicting variances. The liberation theology that teaches man is basically good is also another propagator of self-righteousness while others teach man is sinful like in Buddhism and Taoism. Many of these are built upon relativity.

An unwillingness to turn from a sinful lifestyle. 

How true. Unless people are going to repent (change their mind which results to a change in action) about their sins, they are NEVER going to repent from their unbelief on who the Lord Jesus Christ is because they will NEVER see their need to be saved. After all, they think it's not offensive and so in their mind what do they need Jesus for. John 3:20 says, "For every one that doeth evil hateth the light neither cometh into the light lest his deeds be reproved.". Again how true. After all Romans 3:19 says, "Now we know what things soever the Law it saith to them who are under the Law that every mouth be stopped and all the world may become guilty before God.". They don't see sin as offensive to God so they naturally will refuse to even let God change their lives. It's common to see the sin-loving crowd would see how salvation changes people for the better to reject anything that would make them leave their sinful lifestyles because they love their sin! In fact, one good example of this is how people who are living in together in an adulterous union (ex. Herod II and his brother Philip's wife Herodias) rejected the Gospel of Jesus Christ from John the Baptist and had him beheaded for it. Today, the situation is no different either- people living sinfully and being degenerate reject Christ because they know when they get saved, they will start to hate their sins and serve Jesus.

It's all about a love for money. 

 How true. 1 Timothy 6:9-10 says, "But they that will be rich fall into temptation and a snare and into many foolish and hurtful lusts which drowns men into destruction and perdition. For the love of money is the root of ALL evil which while some coveted after they have erred from the faith and pierced themselves with many sorrows.". Many people think they have ALL the money they don't need God. Jesus said in Mark 10:24, "Children how hard is it for them that trust in riches to enter into the Kingdom of God." Many rich Roman Catholics think that because they have all the money they can then pay in advance for Masses for their dead souls which CANNOT HELP them if they end up in Hell for rejecting the Lord Jesus.

It's all about society's dysfunctional system. 

Television, radio, the Internet, music, magazines, education system and EVEN FAMILY MEMBERS have influenced people with various dangerous ideas. Books written by famous militant atheists like "The God Delusion" are entering into the American public school system. Communism teaches people to reject God and the tenth plank calls for children to be put in the government schools. Again, this is a self-righteous type of thinking.  Sadly many people reject Jesus because they do not want to be different from the world's sinister thinking system.  Many have been disowned by their parents for simply being Christians.

Plus they all count it as hate literature and that one gets labeled as a terrorist for preaching the Gospel as it should be preached. This world has gone insane. This blog is by standard hateful. Ecumenism is 100% pure hypocrisy. These people CANNOT decide on the truth which by the way is 100% intolerant to anything that does not agree with it!

Closing words:

Jesus Christ made salvation for man accessible because He did the hard part which cost Him His own life to pay for what man cannot even pay but the whole problem can be found in John 5:40- "And ye will not come that ye can have eternal life." Rejection happens on the PART OF MAN - God opened the door yet many still climb the other way! After all, when the rich young ruler rejected Jesus, it was because he wanted his OWN way; he thought he was good enough and when Jesus showed the truth, he refused salvation and left. I would not discount the possibility that he could be the rich man in the situation of the rich man and Lazarus seeing that the Bible is not always using the chronological way of writing. 

As said, this blog ministry will always deal with sin so people will see their need for a Savior. There is a high cost for following Jesus as one will become enemies with the world but so great an infinite value because of a salvation that cannot be lost and rewards that come because of the inevitable result of persevering to the end. And yes, salvation can be difficult because it's VERY HARD for man to believe that he is a sinner in need of salvation and that salvation is not by works but through Christ alone.
