There's no denying that rape is indeed a serious offense. I'm not going to deny the gravity of rape as a crime and why it should be punishable. The Old Testament law even has laws to put the rapist to death in Deuteronomy 22:23-27. Also, it's a mistake to think that Deuteronomy 22:28-29 says that a woman must marry her rapist if she isn't betrothed to any man. The father is ultimately in authority over her and can refuse the rapist. Worse, the rapist if he has done any damage to life then he could be charged according to the eye for eye and tooth for tooth law. While doing some reading through Proverbs 5 yesterday and I found the late J. Vernon McGee's heading for this chapter to be rather interesting. It was called, "God's Sex Education". It's been 20 years since incident some time ago when I was a teenager when a Christian school dared to actually suspend at least 17 students (for three days) for playing poker inside the campus. Although some crazy parents tried to reason it out that there was no money involved but they got suspended anyway. Then I entered College and observed that even if a non-Christian university or other non-Christian schools (ex. Roman Catholic and non-religious schools) wouldn't allow students to play cards and gambling in their campuses then how much more would Christian schools even allow such activity? It's no secret how homosexuality is becoming more and more mainstream. It's just so stupid how people say that they don't need God but cry where was God when something bad happens. A lot of American youths today have gone haywire ever since the Bible was banned in public schools in the United States. It's really time to think about not just what happened but why did it happen. Why is it that today children are ruling over their parents but in the yesteryears we have a lot of disciplined boys and girls? It's an issue these days that in the education system, children are trying to grow up fast. It really disgusts me to think these pictures are happening because of parental bad examples and teaching that man is basically good. We've got irresponsible parenting (either being too strict or too lenient either way it is not good) to blame that's creating a generation of rebellious men and women who cannot conform to authority in society causing a lot of stony ground hearers to the Word of God. It's time for another commentary and it's focused on Romans 1:18-32 that would be tackling on God's wrath on mankind based on Romans 1:18-32.  As said, expository preaching is always a good thing.  Now it's time to put all these in a meaningful commentary to help for sermon preparation.  Here are the topics that can be found within the verses: I. There's no doubt that secular rules are becoming dumber and dumber as they choose to put their rules above God's rules (Mark 7:8-9).  The stupidity of secular education has gone as far as to equate the spanking paddle with child abuse when it is not.  Why isn't the spanking paddle child abuse?  For a fact, no injuries have happened and the spanking paddle hit the child at CLOTHED BUTTOCKS or the thigh where pain is the least painful, just enough pain to hurt and heal. I'd like to point out some logical fallacies to stress a point and how they get used: Appeal to force - Yup that is true. Teaching children about erotic sex education is NOT wholesome. I would have to say that unfortunately, one of Pastor Estus W.
