Despite the Fact it Cost God His Son, MANY SPIT AT GOD'S GIFT!

Reality to reality must count... it's sad to think for one fact that in order to render salvation, God the Father sent His Son the Lord Jesus Christ to do one thing- to DIE FOR SINFUL MAN and it cost God His very own Son whom He is well-pleased!  What did the Lord Jesus do?  Romans 5:5-10 says that He died for sinners while they were still sinners!  He shed His own blood for the forgiveness of sins because without that terrible event, there can be NO remission for sins (Hebrews 9:10-22).  It was a very grave day that the Son of God should be tortured, humiliated and killed by sinful man- but He did it just to get sins forgiven. He died not just an ordinary death but a bloody death, meant to show He has given everything up.  Being flogged to a pulp and suffering from a standard Roman crucifixion was a painful death He did to pay for the sins of man.

Sadly what do most men do?  Did they gratefully receive the ONLY way to be forgiven?  Some do but most don't.  Instead they spit at His face by rejecting His only Son whom He loves so much, who gave Himself to save mankind.  How?  They choose to try to do their own merit to enter Heaven such as good works and religion and most of them can't keep it anyway.  Why?  In order to enter Heaven by one's own good works, one must NEVER sin even once but sadly, Romans 3:10-19 declares ALL guilty before God!  Like it or not, God is NOT a bit pleased with what we do, salvation is in what God does not what man does and God loves man not for who they are but for who He is!  Sadly, many people refuse to be rescued and still do!  So God in due fairness has EVERY reason to send unsaved men to Hell because they refused the ONLY way to be saved and continued in their own righteousness!
