Denying God in ACTION

Titus 1:15-16- "Unto the pure all things are pure: but unto them that are defiled and unbelieving is nothing pure; but even their mind and conscience is defiled.  They profess that they know God; but in works they deny Him, being abominable, and disobedient, and unto every good work reprobate."

It's true today that many profess to know God.  Religions of the world and their followers claim they know God.  But do they REALLY know the God of the Bible?  Here's a major answer, the answer is no.  Jesus warned in Matthew 7:17-20 saying, "Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit. A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit neither can a corrupt tree bring good fruit. Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down and cast into the fire. Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them."  That is every person can claim to know God but their actions will really prove otherwise.

So here's a little bit for this commentary- it's time to make a few identifications of heretics and their actions.  Here are some ways God is denied in action:

1.) In the parodies and satires of Biblical Christianity, each one claim to be the true Church yet actions prove otherwise.  These satires try to apply the Bible into their theology rather than let the Bible apply its own theology (Mark 7:8-9).  Here are just some ways these parodies are denying God in action:

  • Roman Catholicism the mother of all satirical "Christianity" has it claiming to have its Popes succeeding Peter's seat is one good example.  While claiming to be the true Church, it is filled with unbiblical doctrines like using Matthew 16:16-18 to change the Rock from Peter to Jesus when that is NOT true- even the Catholic Bible declares in 1 Corinthians 10:4 that Jesus is the ROCK!  Its followers do not trust Christ alone for salvation evidenced by their rituals like the Rosary, walking while kneeling and well praying to Mary and the so-called saints and the dead saints in the Bible each for a different petition when... Jesus can ANSWER THAT ALL!  Plus, the lifestyles of the members can be seen.  Many are judgmental, adulterers, thieves, murderers, drug dealers, porn stars, rock stars and so on.  Also, it should be mentioned the infamous scandals like the priesthood and the papacy for centuries as well as the Inquisition plus it's a MONEY-BASED religion as every ritual requires your worship dime!
  • The anti-Catholic satires of Christianity are no better than their mother the Roman Catholic institution  Some of them have gone as far as to deny the deity of Jesus Christ, give wrong views of the Trinity,  predict their own end of the world dates and like the Roman Catholic institution, they still add works to simple faith in Jesus Christ that results to REAL GOOD WORKS in the plan of getting saved and staying saved.  They also are the type to write conspiracy theories to fit their own needs and paint the world as see it.  Plus, they accuse those who oppose them of working with the Vatican or any rival cult when they don't.

2.) In the obviously non-Christian religions that claim to believe in God.  Here are some examples of denying God in action:

  • Many religions claim to be serving the same God with the Christians but they serve various gods and goddesses in their religion.  Examples are Buddhism, Taoism, Hinduism, Shintoism and Jainism to name a few.  They worship graven images and nature, the creature over the Creator.  So how can these groups ever claim to worship the true God?
  • Islam claims to serve the one true God and call him Allah yet later archeological findings prove that Allah was a pre-Islamic pagan god of the MOON- another name for Nimrod.  Plus, their Koran is NO safe book to read- it contains verses that support violence.

3.) The works salvation crowd are a pretty ironic bunch.  While they accuse the Christians who believe in salvation by faith alone in Jesus Christ to be granting a license to sin, however many of them show a very different lifestyle.  Many of them are arrogant, abrasive and think they're so great.  It's no wonder why Ephesians 2:9 says that it is not of works that salvation is earned so nobody could boast.  A Christian does good works but does not boast about it because it is God that works in them (Philippians 2:13).  What about them?  It should be really funny that many of them are actually living a life of sin like they're homosexuals, con artists who try to make fast money out of any deceitful activity, gamblers, adulterers, womanizers and so on.  They teach a doctrine they cannot keep!  The modernists are another.  Many of them are Antinomian heretics.  They are believing in the standard of moral relativity which can result to the deadly heresy of religious relativism.  The Antinomian has no regard for God and His standards for morality, they try to establish THEIR OWN RIGHTEOUSNESS which can be seen in some immoral people who are called as "moral" (Romans 10:3).  Overall, many works salvationists are also modernists and end up in the dead end of the Antinomian lifestyle because it's their righteousness, not God's.  Their good works are just show business, just for self and never for God's glory and it's not really good works after all.
