So You'd Rather Read Nostradamus' Prophecies Than the Bible During This Coronavirus Epidemic?

Image
It's amazing at how sinful man will usually turn to anyone except God in times of crisis. Now, it's even alleged that Nostradamus supposedly "predicted" the rise of the Coronavirus. Now, we need to consider the real problem is how people easily get fooled by quack prophecies not just on April Fool's Day but whole year-round. Rather than turn to the Bible for comfort while waiting for answers - some people would rather read through the prophecies of Nostradamus instead. Ironic how people will say, that only man wrote the Bible. However, they will turn to the writings of man for answers. It's an unfortunate reality of self-contradiction that's observed on a daily basis. In the book "Will The World End in 2012?" - we can read in the fourth chapter titled "The Predictions of Nostradamus". The book was available last 2012 when it was believed that the world (or for some, the Rapture) will supposedly end on that date. To note, Nostradamus...

Pastors for Profit Are Teaching the Heretical Doctrine of Balaam

Image
As I was doing some Bible reading today - I felt that I should write about the very dangerous doctrine of Balaam. The influence of Balaam goes beyond Numbers 22-24 which talk about the prophet for profit. He knew that Israel was God's chosen nation yet he chose to go against it for the sake of money. Balak means devastator and Balaam means not of the people. As a soothsayer and an unsaved man - it's obvious that he would care more about money than God. The New Testament has these to say about Balaam: 2 Peter 2:15  Which have forsaken the right way, and are gone astray, following the way of Balaam, the son of Bosor (Beor) who loved the wages of unrighteousness ;  Jude 1:11  Woe unto them! For they have gone in the way of Cain, and ran greedily after the error of Balaam and perished in the gainsaying of Core (Korah).   Revelation 2:14  But I have a few things against thee, because thou hast there them that hold the doctrine of Balaam , who ta...

Politically Correct Pastors Are Not Men of God But Men of Satan

Just when a Christian thought that they could find support from a pastor but that person finds out that the pastor is indeed politically correct . It's a problem today how political correctness has crept into various Christian groups. It's crazy how some Baptist institutions no longer catering to the Bride of Christ but they are apostate churches instead. Politically correct pastors are subtle dangers that you may have not expected. They are creeping into the churches and may be the biggest challenge in spiritual warfare for any true Christian. I remembered reading through several of Pastor John F. MacArthur's books such as "The Gospel According to Jesus", "Fool's Gold" and "Hard to Believe". From the three books I mentioned, I remembered how "Fool's Gold" really had a lot to say about discernment in the modern age. We have politically correct preachers. At first, I thought it was a sign that I could reach out people with th...

How a Pseudo-Calvinist Prosperity Gospel Preacher May Sound Like

Image
Here's a funny picture of Joel Osteen turned into "Joel Calvinsteen" which is too funny and too good not to share. At the same time, the whole idea of the prosperity gospel meets nothing with the Bible.  John 15:18-19 warns those who have been chosen of God to beware of persecution and prepare for the worst. Sorry Joel Osteen you're definitely not a born again pastor but just another idiot who preaches a feel good message that's sending people to Hell! It's Rejecting Sola Scriptura That Creates Several Pseudo-Christian Groups

Image
There's a Roman Catholic myth that Sola Scriptura has created 33,000 Protestant denominations. But really are there 33,000 Protestant denominations? Bro. Gerry Soliman of Solutions Finder Apologetics wrote an article on the 33,000 denomination myth . The whole idea is bogus according to a Roman Catholic source the National Catholic Register. But there's one truth that can be said that it's rejecting and not embracing Sola Scriptura that has caused a huge epidemic of a rise of pseudo-Christian groups. From Roman Catholicism to various pseudo-Christian groups here and there were a result of rejecting Sola Scriptura. The claim by some Roman Catholic apologists that Sola Scriptura means condoning to certain evils is already implying that God is condoning to certain evils when He can't and won't go against His holy nature. Some of them have gone so far as to say that our modern conception of slavery was condoned by the Bible. Was the slavery in the Bible really sl...

The Bible is Complete, Case Closed!

Image
I can agree that apparitions, revelations, dreams and visions are biblical. The prophets had them, the apostle John got a vision and revelation in the Book of Revelation. But there's one problem today with people who still continue to claim that you can't be a "true church" if it there aren't any continuing dreams, visions and revelations. I remembered an argument I had with an Iglesia ni Cristo missionary and a Roman Catholic priest in two separate occasions that say if my church doesn't have any more signs and wonders then that church is false. While dreams, visions and revelations were given to those who wrote the Bible but what does the Bible have to say about them today? Do we still need them or are we really in the danger of satanic deception? Revelation 22:18-19 warns,"For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in t...

Just Say No to Pulpit Pimps Because God Will Judge Such Evil Preachers

Image
There's the ongoing accusation that born again Christians support those pastors who are pulpit pimps.  Biblically speaking, any pulpit pimp is a false prophet that has to be exposed and/or rebuked.  But many times, many of them don't even need to be exposed.  Many of them are already exposing themselves by their many ways to gain popularity.  Some of these methods include being a close friend or agent of the Vatican, preaching a watered down presentation of the Gospel, preaching a wrong kind of grace that permits a license to sin, feel good preaching, sensationalism with stuff such as unproven conspiracy theories and every worldly means that they can think of.  These pulpit pimps are never in to preach the truth but they are in to deceive people.  History has proven that false religion is one of the most lucrative dirty businesses if not the most lucrative dirty business ever. It's indeed true that if pastors preach according to the Word of God then the...

Beware of Diluted Truth!

Image
There is a statement that a half-truth is far more deceitful and worse than an obvious lie.  Just as there are varying degrees of sin and varying degrees of punishment depending on the severity of sin then the same goes for any sin.  Although looking at a woman with lust is equivalent to breaking God's standard against adultery but the Old Testament only condemned to death the man and the woman committing the fleshly act of adultery.  Although wanting to murder someone is indeed breaking God's standard against murder but the only murder that is condemned to death is the very act of murder.  When it comes to bearing false witness it can go from a simple lie that a child tells his or her parent to avoid punishment, cheating on an exam to get a high score, lying to the authorities to avoid punishment and doing swindling jobs that while they do break God's standards against lying, not all of them required stoning in the Old Testament.  But remember, all of these w...

When the "Man of God" is Not Really a Man of God

Image
Anybody can go ahead and label themselves as "a man of God" but the evidence suggests otherwise that aside from doctrine, the lifestyle also follows.  One can always teach salvation by works then live a very loose lifestyle.  From works salvation pastors who have extramarital affairs, profiteering their pulpit or dying as a result of habitual sin there are also Antinomian pastors who really dare to teach that salvation is a license to sin.  Both kinds of pastors are not men of God as they claim to be but they are men of the Devil.  What is more painful to think about is that these pastors do not even realize Satan has been manipulating them without their knowledge. If these self-proclaimed men of God are oriented to money, prestige, recognition, popularity, power, sexual looseness and selfishness then I have no reason to believe such a man is a man of God.  Some may go ahead and say they are only preaching the truth when they are not.  They can claim to...

So the Man of God is Now a "Pharisee"?

Image
Looking at the comic strip above, it's very easy to see how the man of God can be so easily judged and verses are taken out of context.  One of the most misused and abused verses ever is judge not and you will not be judged (Matthew 7:1) all because people do not bother to take the Bible into context.  The more I observe about how Scripture is misquoted (note Satan also quoted Scriptures to tempt Jesus), the more I realize that people misquote the Scripture just to get their own way.  False prophets just love to misinterpret the Scripture, don't they? Jeremiah was doing his best to warn people of the sheep but the people think that he had no right to relay the truth.  Most people today cannot tell the difference between judging people as the final judge and judging people's actions.  While I should not judge the final fate of people that so and so should have died already, however I am commanded to make sound judgment about doctrines and actions as to war...

Well, We Christians Warned You, Didn't We?

Image
From Repentance Cry, well here's a picture that really summarizes people who tell me that my work for God is useless.  So they tell Christian workers in general, "You people better stop criticizing.  You are not making God happy." then they misquote the Bible never mind Jesus said in John 14:6 that only He can lead men to the Father and John 5:23 makes it clear whoever rejects Jesus Christ also rejects the Father. Isaiah 30:10 says, "Which say to the seers, See not; and to the prophets, Prophesy not unto us right things, speak unto us smooth things, prophesy deceits:" and well, they got it.  It just reminded me of Pastor Paul David Washer's statement saying, "False teachers are God’s judgment on people who don’t want God, but in the name of religion plan on getting everything their carnal heart desires. That’s why a Joel Osteen is raised up! Those people who sit under him are not victims of him, he is the JUDGMENT OF GOD UPON THEM BECAUSE THEY WA...

False Prophets Will EXPOSE Themselves!

I remembered the time I would diligently research on false prophets, their names, doctrines, etc. to expose them.  What I discovered more often times than not is that their heresies are almost very common to each other.  Like how many preachers do you have teaching Arminianism?  A LOT!  How many preachers do you have teaching salvation by works?  A LOT!  How many of them are ecumenicals?  A LOT!  And to be honest, there's a lot of false prophets out there that I don't really have all the time in the world to research about them.  But as said, do not focus on persons, focus on the heresies.  If I attack heresies, it will automatically refute the heretic.  I don't have to keep mentioning their names, they are already mentioning themselves. Now how do false prophets expose themselves?  Here are ways that I found out that false prophets will expose themselves: 1.) They strive to be recognized to be great among men. ...

Beware of People Who Claim to be Prophets!

Image
It's really annoying to have people who claim to be prophets and that God has anointed them unto this generation but they are but quacks.  How do you identify these false prophets?  Deuteronomy 18:22 says "When a prophet speaketh in the Name of the LORD,  if the thing follow not, nor come to pass , that is the thing which  the LORD hath not spoken , but the prophet hath  spoken it presumptuously : thou shalt not be afraid of him."  God is clear that He hates false prophets and that He will not honor them as His prophets.  From the recent incident in Pangasinan being "clouded" by conspiracy theories and false prophecies, I wish this article will get people to wake up to reality! False prophets claim their inspiration from the Bible yet what they do is otherwise.  In fact, one must remember Harold Camping's three times failed predictions- May 21, October 21 or the December 21, 2012 Rapture theory.  What is worse is that some of them...

Remembering December 21, 2012 Last Year

I remembered all the mass hysteria of some people who believed some stupid quack predictions that December 21, 2012 was the doomsday or for some, the Rapture date.  So I was misinformed that Harold Camping died last year due to unreliable rumors online, he died THIS YEAR at 92 which was reported on Yahoo News .  If I were to throw something here, maybe the Mayan Calendar didn't end in 2012 but on December 15, 2013 which is the date of Harold Camping's death and this time verified as true.   It should be interesting that three of his prediction dates which ALL FAILED have a 21 on them- May 21 of 2011, October 2011 of 2011 and December 21, 2012 but maybe the Mayan Calendar really ended on December 15, 2013.  So here's one thing I want to be certain... again the Lord Jesus Christ had already said it that no man can know and NOT even angels in Heaven but the Father only in Matthew 24:36 which is Jesus' own words.  That means when anybody brags to know the ...

Some Marks of False Preachers

Well not all of them have to be present but here are some I've seen whether these false preachers be pro-Catholic or anti-Catholic. Preachers like Paul Washer and John MacArthur are in the same boat with me whenever I want to emphasize that false preachers will pay. Here are the common marks to look out for: 1.) Teaching works salvation. Yup this is true. I have noticed that you can get seriously crazy with this one. Many pastors who teach works salvation are hypocritical at best, liars who get itchy whenever they are being attacked. Many of them teach the heresy of conditional security. One, eternal security or better yet known as the PERSEVERANCE of the saints does not teach the Christian can live any way they want. The works salvation group puts the cart before the horse, denies the preserving power of Christ that allows the saints to persevere to the very end and wishes to take credit for salvation. It's a very self-centered Gospel of "Me, myself and I....

False Preachers are God's Judgment on People Who Hate the Gospel Truth!

Image
While I was listening to Paul Washer berating against the false teachings of Joel Osteen or should I say Jolly Ostensible or John F. MacArthur berating Rob Bell or should I say Rob Hell, well it's pretty clear to me now that false prophets are really God's judgment on people who follow them. Bell was trying to say there is no Hell but it wouldn't be long before Hell is his eternal home unless he repents. For one, I really used to stress myself arguing with all these false prophets like how my encounter with them I thought that these people are better off not minded if they continue to reject the truth that is shared. After all, God is using them to judge people. So far here's what while reading Jeremiah 5:31, it is no surprise people following these false prophets are on their way to destruction otherwise known as the blind leading the blind. They will fall into the ditch and God will allow false preachers to progress for this reason- to judge the hard-necked people...
