Roman Catholic Misinterpretation of 2 Thessalonians 2:15

Roman Catholics try to justify their manmade tradition by appealing to 2 Thessalonians 2:15 which says in the King James version, "Therefore brethren stand fast and hold the traditions which ye have been taught whether by word or our epistle." which can be translated as this from the Good News Bible for Roman Catholics, "So then our brothers and sisters, stand firm and hold on to those truths which WE TAUGHT YOU both in our preaching and in our letter."

The typical argument is that, "Hah, we got you.  The Bible supports tradition."  Yes, the Bible DOES support tradition BUT looking close at the verses, we realize that the Apostle Paul (who Roman Catholics adhere as a pillar of truth while they erroneously adhere to Peter as the first Pope, the Rock, the Head of the Church and the Pope as the successor of Peter) was talking about the traditions he gave should be either from the word of the Apostles or by their epistle which the Roman Catholic versions translates as either preaching.  Please notice "WHICH WE TAUGHT YOU".  In fact, countless times has the Roman Catholic institution while claiming apostolic succession (which they have none and are rather Mark 7:8-13's warning of rejecting God's word to favor manmade traditions), she has actually fulfilled 1 Timothy 4:1-4.  She has deviated from apostolic tradition which she claims to uphold in favor of manmade tradition which she has rejected the Word of God to uphold it.

The Roman Catholic institution has created various evils such as enforced fasting during Lent which has led people to be executed for refusing to do so, mandatory celibacy for priests, adding graven images into worship striking out the second commandment (which is EVEN still present in their Roman Catholic translations of the Bible), infant baptism in exchange for Biblical baptism, having to pass through Mary as a co-mediatrix while denying they worship Mary, praying to various saints and confessionals making one to confess their sins to a priest rather than directly to God and worse works salvation.  These were all invented by the Council of Trent which soon even Mary's sinlessless, Purgatory, etc. were all debated for centuries and the Popes have declared by their own free will not by the Holy Spirit one doctrine that overlapped the other.  How can such an institution ever be the Bride of Christ?  It cannot be.  The Roman Catholic institution is known for its poor interpretation of the Bible and misrepresentation of born again Christians.  In fact, the stand of the born again Christian is, "We are saved by faith alone but not a faith that is not alone."
