Remember Celebrating Holy Week Is To Remember What Has ALREADY BEEN DONE, NOT SOMETHING THAT IS REPEATEDLY DONE!

Considering this week is Holy Week for 2015, one must consider on what it means to celebrate Holy Week.  Some people tell me like, "Well we are avoiding meat because the Lord had died." or some people have said, "Well the Lord is dead right now."  That is utterly nonsense to believe that Jesus dies every Good Friday.
Hebrews 10:12 says, "But this man, after He had offered ONE SACRIFICE for sins for ever, sat down in the right hand of God;".  The whole passage of Hebrews 10 refers to the sacrifices of sins have been complied once and for all.  That is, there is only one sacrifice for sins.  Hebrews 10:26 (which is misused to justify conditional security) says, "For if we sin willfully after that we have received knowledge of the truth, THERE REMAINETH NO MORE SACRICE FOR SINS," which means, you heard the Gospel, you still continue in rebellion, nothing else will help as a sacrifice for sins but Jesus.

Let us think of what is being honored during…

Is It Okay For Christians to Observe Holy Week?

There is the question of whether or not Christians should observe Holy Week.  Now this is another tough question considering that Holy Week and Lent are both observed by the Roman Catholic institution and so are Christmas and New Year.  This has also sparked a debate especially when the Puritans while they had sound soteriology and preaching, a lot of them made the serious mistake of genetic fallacy when it came to Christmas and Holy Week.

But here are a few interesting facts that you must know about Holy Week:

The Holy Week and the Passover happen on the same week.Passover 2014 was on April 14, 2014 and ended in April 22, 2014.  Holy Week hit on April 18, 2014 which happened to be on the Passover week.Good Friday and the start of the Passover this year will hit on April 3, 2015.  I view this as a sign of the times. When Jesus was crucified it was during Passover Week.  So whether or not He was crucified on Thursday or a Friday is irrelevant.  What is important is that He died for the …

The Dangers of Ministries Who Are Unequally Yoked with Roman Catholics!

It really saddens me to think how some Baptist or Evangelical unions ends  up compromising with Roman Catholics.  While Roman Catholics are not Christians, not everyone who is supposedly part of a Christian denomination like Baptist, Evangelical or Presbyterian might actually be a wolf in sheep's clothing,  My concern is how even some sound preachers are fooled into supporting ministries and associations that are actually in an unequal yoke with Rome.  For instance, Rick Warren while he is against homosexuality, divorce and abortion is sadly and unequally yoked with the Roman Catholic institution.  He even congratulated Pope Francis on his election and asked his followers to accept Roman Catholics as brothers and sisters in Christ, or to even join in fasting as the cardinals elect a new Pope.

I am called a bigot because I have the stand that Roman Catholics are not Christians.  The reasons why I gave up on Roman Catholicism was not merely interpretation or personal reasons but al…

Brash Atheists Are Ungrateful People in Science!

Thanks to my brother-in-Christ David W. Cloud, I have discovered more facts on how atheists are ungrateful turds in science.  He has revealed statements from a brash atheist named Richard Dawkins that proves a really biased view against Creationism and how atheists are ungrateful turds: "Evolution is a fact. Beyond reasonable doubt, beyond serious doubt, beyond sane, informed, intelligent doubt, beyond doubt evolution is a fact. ... Evolution is a fact, and [my] book will demonstrate it. No reputable scientist disputes it, and no unbiased reader will close the book doubting it." (Dawkins, The Greatest Show in Earth, 2010).  "There is no doubt now; no serious scientist has any doubt that evolution is a fact, in the sense that we are cousins of chimpanzees, monkeys and wombats and cassowaries."  (Dawkins, interview with COSMOS magazine, May 23, 2012). "... no scientist denies the central truth of [Darwin’s] The Origin, the idea of descent with modification ... …

If Atheists Believe in Dawkin's Statement of "Only Pitiless Indifference" Then They Have NO BASIS For Condemning Bloody Acts of Injustice

Richard Dawkins wrote this disturbing statement:
The total amount of suffering per year in the natural world is beyond all decent contemplation. During the minute that it takes me to compose this sentence, thousands of animals are being eaten alive, many others are running for their lives, whimpering with fear, others are slowly being devoured from within by rasping parasites, thousands of all kinds are dying of starvation, thirst, and disease. It must be so. If there ever is a time of plenty, this very fact will automatically lead to an increase in the population until the natural state of starvation and misery is restored. In a universe of electrons and selfish genes, blind physical forces and genetic replication, some people are going to get hurt, other people are going to get lucky, and you won't find any rhyme or reason in it, nor any justice. The universe that we observe has precisely the properties we should expect if there is, at bottom, no design, no purpose, no evil, no …

Homosexuals Are Playing the Victim to Further Their Vile Agenda!

Homosexuals are gaining the "sympathy' of the world with their playing the victim mentality.  There is such a problem called the "victim mentality" to where even if they are not the victim, they pretend to be the victim.  Satan has had several methods of carrying out his evil and as said, he can appear as an angel of light (2 Corinthians 11:14).  Satan can use both direct and indirect methods to get whatever evil he wants to be done... even if it means doing outward works of righteousness which are but dead works, not good works sprang from man's total depravity.  Likewise, homosexuals are never exempt from Satan's deceitful game.

When I started reading the news, I noticed how homosexuals tend to pretend to be bullied even if they are also capable of bullying.  One time a Christian baker refused to bake a cake for a homosexual marriage, he was immediately charged with a hate crime.  Refusing a customer for their information is not a hate crime.  Plus, it'…

Are We Taking Romans 4:5 Out of Context?

Romans 4:5 says, "But to him that worketh not but believeth upon Him which justifieth the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness."  The verse itself can be misused and abused by Antinomians and easy believists as "proof" that a Christian can live like the rest of the world and still be saved.  What becomes stupid is when a person says something like, "Well, haven't you read Romans 4:5?  I can be a Christian and woohoo I don't have to do good works!  I can sin all I want!" type of reasoning but there's a warning to that.  Although good works do not precede salvation but the Bible is clear that good works are a result of salvation.  Remember Romans 4:5 is is NOT the only verse in the Book of Romans.

While salvation is never earned or maintained by good works but there is one thing that must be remembered.  A true faith is not static but an active faith.  Just in case those people forget, Romans 3:31 says, "Do we then make void the …

The Roman Catholic Mass Compared to the Traditional Lord's Supper

As a former Roman Catholic, I had trouble adjusting to the fact that the Lord's Supper was performed in the evening. As a Catholic, communion was distributed all day as long as a Mass concluded, it was even distributed to in the morning, afternoon and evening. I want to draw a line between the Roman Catholic Mass and the Lord's Supper. I want to present a difference in the practices of how the Roman Catholic mass is different from the Lord's Supper.

Roman Catholic Mass

The Roman Catholic Mass is supposedly a continuous, unbloody sacrifice for sins. When the priest offers the bread, he says, "My brothers and sisters, let us pray that this sacrifice may be made holy and acceptable.". That is, the Roman Catholic belief of the Mass is focused on offering the Mass for the forgiveness of sins because their salvation is by faith and works. That is rather than faith that produces good works, it is relying on both which is a contradiction to Romans 11:6.

The very doctrin…

The Need For Spurgeonistic Hard Preaching!

Today, one of the greatest problems of many Protestant and Baptist churches is that, they are Protestant or Baptist only by name, others who are supposedly non-denominational Christians are claiming to be Christians but are "Christians" by name only.  These people appear to be Christians but they are not Christians.  These are false converts who were never saved to start with.  They claim to have gotten saved but they are in reality, they were never saved (1 John 2:19).  They claimed that they were Christians but their lifestyles proved that they were different.  Did they lose their salvation?  No, they never had it.  Matthew 7:23 says that Jesus had told the lost on Judgment Day, "I NEVER KNEW YOU!  DEPART FROM ME YE THAT PRACTICE INIQUITY."

It reminded me of the problem of one church that claimed to be a Bible-believing Evangelical church and another claimed to be a Baptist church.  I remembered there was this Christian retreat that I never saw any change to the…

Some Logical Fallacies Commonly Made By Roman Catholic Apologists in Defending Their Faith

I have noticed that Roman Catholic apologists are mostly very unprofessional and two, debating with them is a waste of time.  When I listened to an Independent Baptist vs. Roman Catholic debate, neither side really made sense.  Both of them were attacking each other with illogical arguments.  This of course should at least help Independent Baptist apologists to avoid making the same mistakes since I have observed them sadly wasting their time debating with Roman Catholic apologists:
Here are some logical fallacies I have observed that Roman Catholic apologists make a lot and I'm not only tackling on the Catholic Faith Defenders:

Ad Hominem.  More often than not, I have observed that Roman Catholic apologists attack the person instead of the argument.  Like in the past, I remembered how a Catholic faith defender said, "Well you are not a priest or a doctor of the church to talk about the Scripture."
Appeal to Force.  While not all Roman Catholic apologists do this but a lot…

Atheism Has Been More Close Minded Than Christianity!

Atheists are quick to accuse me of being a close minded bigot.  I would like to write my defense of my observation that Christianity has been more open minded than atheists and that atheists have been more close-minded than atheists.  I could start to tell of situations that had revealed atheists as close-minded individuals.

Christianity in itself has been more open-minded to first study something before refuting it and not just with what is written in the Scripture.  1 Thessalonians 5:21 encourages Christians to "test all things" and "hold fast to which is true" which is far more scientific than how the atheist approaches "science".  A Christian is given room to investigate anything and not just merely say, "Well the Bible says..." but they are commanded to TEST ALL THINGS.  Such a command was followed by Creationist scientists whether or not they were Christian.

When I think about the command "test all things" that is what science r…

Reflecting On Paul Washer's "Don't Expect a Perfect Repentance"

Here's Pastor Paul Washer talking about "Don't Expect a Perfect Repentance".  When a person comes to Christ for salvation, they do not instantly mature.  When Jesus told Nicodemus you must be born again, it means spiritually starting over.  That means, a person has a long way to go before they are truly perfect.  Remember the old Gospel song called, "Little By Little"?  That is, repentance starts with salvation, it continues in sanctification.

Remembering the song itself, I was reminded that I cannot expect to be perfect until the day I am called Home to be in Heaven.  I need to be corrected of my mistakes because I am not perfect, only God can.  The path is long, God wants us to have greater satisfaction.  Instead of saying, "Tadan!  You are now perfect!", instead God chooses to let Christians go the long and painful way.  It is true the long is way and painful but achievement that comes after bitter trials is much sweeter than just simply havi…

A Possible, Horrible Way For an Atheist Homosexual Male to Die

Homosexuality is indeed a result of delusion and it will generate delusions.  While they mock the Bible, they are fulfilling Bible prophecy whether they like it or not.  2 Peter 3:3-5 says, "Knowing this first that there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts, and saying, Where is the promise of His coming?  For since the fathers fell asleep all things continue as they were from the beginning of the Creation.  For this they willingly are ignorant of that by the Word of God the Heavens were of old and the Earth standing out of the water and in the water."  Isn't that what the scoffers are EXACTLY doing?

God also warned in 2 Thessalonians 2:11 saying, "And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion THAT THEY SHOULD BELIEVE A LIE: That they might be damned who believed not the Truth but had pleasure in unrighteousness."  Even the very act that the atheist at some point believes that there is no God and that without God, unlimit…

Why I Continue to Stand By the Truth that Roman Catholics Are NOT Christians Even When It Offends

People call me a hater, bigot and whatever phrases they can think. While you have Catolibans (a phrase given to Roman Catholics who act like Taliban soldiers) say that I am opposing the one true Church (which they do not belong to), there are also Roman Catholics who have used the tactic of trying to influence compromise between who they consider as "separated brethren" one way or another, even appealing to the late John Paul II's "Day of Pardon Mass" (he's now even canonized by Pope Francis as St. John Paul II) who say I am dividing the Body of Christ. The reason is because I am firm in my stand that Roman Catholics are by no means, real saved born again Christians!

Having been a former Roman Catholic, I grew up believing in salvation is kept by performing works, devotion to the Virgin Mary, that the Vatican was above the Bible, the Pope is the successor of Peter, that I had to pass through confession through the priest before my sins can be forgiven and …

The Practice of "Sex Change" Causes Confusion to Society!

As if the Jeffrey Laude incident wasn't enough, now Thailand as released yet another reprobate transformation a Thailand male homosexual known as "Nong Poy" who is a man who has appeared to look like a woman.  The deception is so convincing that at one look, Nong Poy looks like a woman but beware, he is still a man in the eyes of God.  I would admit some Asian men look feminine but they are still men nonetheless.  Later pictures may eventually prove that Nong Poy is a handsome man, not a pretty woman.

One good reason that homosexuality is sinful is the deception it can carry to others.  Again these reprobates may always ask me that if their sin affects me personally and if it does not, I have no reason to go against it.  Just because something does not affect me personally does not make it right.  Like if a thief steals money from another person but not me, I may not be affected personally but the thief is still wrong nonetheless even if I am not the one who got robbed. …

Popularity Seeking Preachers are Servants of Satan!

I remembered when I was told something like, "Well I'm sure if you are a pastor, you'd just be a penniless beggar because you refuse to adopt to the viewpoint of the world. You reject homosexuality as a sin, you call Roman Catholics are not Christians and I hope that the Abu Sayyaf will massacre you when you preach in Mindanao. I hope you blow up like those fanatics in Doulos and I'd be glad to see you die." type of talk. To the world today, popularity creates truth and that the truth is based on vote, not on the facts. That is why a lot of nations today suffer from bad leaders because people vote according to the popularity of the candidates rather than the moral credibility of the candidates. Likewise, preachers who are treated like celebrities deserve to be put under scrutiny one way or another. If they were men of God, why are they getting so much praise from the worldly more often than not? These popularity seeking preachers are indeed servants of Satan!

Exposing False Conversions from Easy Prayerism

Today, it's really a problem when local churches fall away from the complete Gospel in exchange for a watered down presentation of the Gospel.  So many times, the problem is with the evangelism via easy prayerism.  Easy prayerism is when somebody says, "Okay, you want to get saved, just repeat after me.  Do you want to receive Jesus into your heart?"  Now Romans 10:13 is true that whoever calls upon the name of the Lord Jesus Christ will be saved but that is not just the only point!  It's time to really expose how false conversion from easy prayerism.

How does easy prayerism cause so much of false conversions?  Easy prayerism presents a very diluted presentation of the Gospel.  The problem is it's a very, very incomplete picture of the Romans Road.  More often than not, it's just no preaching against sin, no preaching about the Law of God, no showing the person's true need of salvation and that they cannot save themselves.  Instead, they are led to say a …

Understanding the Doctrine of The "Perseverance of the Saints"

The perseverance of the saints is a truth that has been upheld by Reformed Theology.  This is one controversial doctrine.  The idea of the perseverance of the saints is either viewed as "works salvation" by some Independent Baptists and it is viewed as a license by the Arminians.  It would be important to see what the perseverance of the saints is.  This is an essential study in order to understand Scriptural ground.  As a follower of Reformed Theology my salvation and power against sin is dependent on Jesus Christ.  If I have a new life, it's by Christ alone.  My good works are not necessary to keep salvation but are the fruits of salvation.

The mistake that many people think of Calvinistic theology teaches works salvation.  Perseverance of the saints can be a misleading term if not understood.  Pastor Paul David Washer said, "Those whom God has accepted in the Beloved and sanctified by His Spirit will never totally nor finally fall away from the state of grace, b…

How "Tolerant" Are Atheists As They Claim To Be Anyway?

Atheists have the habit of accusing Christians and their God of intolerance.  Every time I try to mention the matter of God, I don't always get their stand that He doesn't exist.  At times, they would admit that God exists and says stuff like, "I'd rather be separated from God forever in eternity than a God who is intolerant.  He destroyed the whole planet with water and He burned down two cities for their homosexual lifestyle.  If God is love, He should have tolerated homosexuality.  We atheists are the most tolerant people."
On the contrary, many atheists are pretty much intolerant.  In contrary to the Hollywood film "Inherit the Wind", the whole film is "Inherently Wind".  The Scopes Monkey trial was nothing more than a setup to make Christians look like they are bigots and homophobic people.  The whole movie was a sham.  Atheists want to play the victim in the situation and show Christians are unscientific fools.  The whole movie was a pl…

Is It Allowable for a Christian to Kill Agents of Satan When They Come to Town?

I remembered the times when I had actually mentioned about shooting infamous Satanist rocker Marilyn Manson to "save the town".  I also mentioned about the Old Testament's witch hunts where witches were not allowed to live.  I would mention that serious cleaning was done by righteous kings.  I even felt like that every Halloween, a witch hunting and witch burning must be done in order to piss Satan off.

However I was soon scolded by a pastor that the disciples asked fire to come down from Heaven (Luke 9:54) or later, Peter cut off the ear of one of the guards who came to arrest Jesus.  I know I had some righteous anger but Satan can turn any Christian's righteous anger for the worst.  The pastor said that the ministry is all about preaching the Gospel, not eradicating the sinner.  I was also reminded that unless I have no sin, I have no right to take the law into my hands.

What I soon forgot was that Ephesians 6:12 says that the struggle is not against flesh and bl…

The Atheist's "I Don't See God Up Here" Argument is Stupid!

Above is an atheist meme I often see with the "I don't see God up here." argument.  For the atheist they claim this that there is no God because they don't see God.  The meme would usually go with the idea of an astronaut in space who does not see God in space as their evidence that God does not exist.  I could point both the huge problem and the hypocrisy behind the "I don't see God up here." argument.
We might want to understand the idea of the unseen.  The atheist may appeal to the idea that God does not exist because he or she does not see God.  If what cannot be seen does not exist then we might consider air (which you cannot see) nonexistent because you cannot see it.  It may also be argued by atheists that atoms and everything invisible to the naked eye is invisible.  It would be as good as somebody saying, "Hey guys, I've looked around a bit, no (insert anything that cannot be seen) here."  Atheists should STOP breathing since the…
