Pastors With Dirty Mouths Aren't Fit to Preach in God's Pulpit

It's a problem but some pastors do have a dirty mouth. It doesn't fit into the qualification of God's pastor. Pastors are not only called to be family men but to be also of good character. Here's what 1 Timothy 3:1-7 says about the qualifications of a pastor:
This is a true saying, If a man desire the office of a bishop, he desireth a good work. A bishop then must be blameless, the husband of one wife, vigilant, sober, of good behaviour, given to hospitality, apt to teach; not given to wine, no striker, not greedy of filthy lucre; but patient, not a brawler, not covetous; one that ruleth well his own house, having his children in subjection with all gravity; (for if a man know not how to rule his own house, how shall he take care of the church of God?) Not a novice, lest being lifted up with pride he fall into the condemnation of the devil. Moreover he must have a good report of them which are without; lest he fall into reproach and the snare of the devil.

A pastor should really have a clean mouth as part of God's requirement. It's crazy how I heard of a pastor who hast he nerve to criticize politicians with dirty mouths while he has a dirty mouth himself. Not only that he's very fond of cursing and cussing at anyone who disagrees with him. It pities me to think how he may even treat his wife and son.  Pastors should not be riotous or a brawler but he's definitely having those behaviors. Worse, from his mouth only keeps uttering cursing and bitterness one way or another. How can he be apt to teach if he himself has a dirty mouth to start with?

Bible schools need to be serious about giving people their diplomas and permission to preach if they don't have the right attitude. I guess the problem today with many Bible schools is that as long as a person can memorize the theological facts and theories then they can graduate. But here's what: I don't care if the person can be so good in theology if that person can't speak the truth in love then that person isn't fit to preach (Ephesians 4:15). What's the use of having so much knowledge if all of that preaching is not done out of love (1 Corinthians 13:1-3)?

That's why it's important to consider that pastors need to have clean mouths when they preach. They are preaching the very words of God. They are tasked to spread the Word of God but you don't mix the profane with the holy. Becoming a Christian is living a sanctified life and to become a clean vessel for the glory of God. A pastor with a dirty mouth doesn't glorify God but only his own filth which in turn dishonors a holy and righteous God. Remember Isaiah's lips had to be purged before he could be used as a prophet for God (Isaiah 6:5-8) then pastors themselves need God's grace to avoid having a filthy mouth. It's all because you can't proclaim the clean and holy message as long as your mouth is full of filth.
