I remembered telling a devoted Roman Catholic about the foolishness of Purgatory doctrine to which they sadly keep paying for masses that never end.  I just thought of this, "Hey Hebrews 9:27 doesn't say that there's no Purgatory."  He wanted to argue, I didn't argue.  I did my part.  So how poor was his understanding?  While he accuses me of taking it out of context.  Well I'm taking it INTO context.  Well the word "immediately" does not have to be there.   For them to win their argument I just really gave my thought that the verse says, "For as it appointed unto man once to die but after this the Judgment."  Notice that there is no "middle place" but rather "after this" the judgment.  If they really believe that verse, consider the following: 1.) One of the greatest logical fallacies in trying to defend the Roman Catholic (and in extension Orthodox) tradition of Mary is in the "mother of my Lord" verse.  At first glance, it seems that Elizabeth was calling her cousin Mary the "mother of God" and giving her the adoration and worship that only God deserves but further analysis should prove it wrong.  They appeal to the Greek of Lord meaning "Kurious" meaning "supreme in authority".  No doubt that Jesus is Lord.  However He also shared the nature of being man aside from being God throughout the whole human ministry.  As God, He doesn't have a mother but as a man, He has a mother.  Now appealing again to Luke, Luke 8:21 has the Lord Jesus Christ saying that whoever does His will is His family- mother, brother or sister.  Now the logical cycle can go this way: if anybody becomes a believer then that person is a mother of God.  Now that is just plain crazy logic.  Now going back to Elizabe...

Transubstantiation is the Roman Catholic doctrine that the bread and the wine used during the Mass will actually become the literal body and blood of Jesus Christ.  Here are the verses used to justify their claims: Matthew 26:26-28- "And as they were eating, Jesus took bread, and blessed it, and brake it, and gave it to the disciples, and said, Take, eat; this is my body. While many try to point out the wedding feast of Cana to be Mary's first act of intercession for Jesus and man, however it is not at all an act of intercession.  So let's really analyze the whole story in context from John 2:1-11.  So here's a summary of the events: Marriage in Galilee, Jesus attended a wedding with His disciples, His earthly mother and His earthly half-brothers People knew not yet that Jesus was the Messiah Believing that they could approach Jesus through Mary, they asked the favor through her Mary approached Jesus but Jesus called her "woman" instead (check also the Catholic Douay Bible) Mary gave no command but told the people to DO whatever Jesus will bid them do (John 2:5) People did as Jesus commanded, Mary took no part So what did this story prove?  Well, here Mary is obviously clear that she wants people to understand that she could not intercede between them and her Son, the Lord Jesus Christ because one, she was but ...

The argument can't be substantiated with the statement that the word Purgatory is not in the Bible because other words like atheist, Trinity, eternal security and sacrament are also not used because of the old English issues.  So it's time to refute the existence of Purgatory in a better way than the word doesn't exist logic, rather by straight facts that refute such a doctrine ever exists! Here's another heresy that's going on with the Roman Catholic cult as well as the diet Catholics is the heresy of the confessional! These people confess their wrongdoings in some strange box. It has come to our attention that most Catholic faith defenders (and in extension diet Catholic churches like the Orthodox churches) try to tell me this, "We don't worship Mary, we only venerate her. ". Let's see what venerate and worship means. Well we do expect to get the comment from any Catholic apologist/s (or in extension anybody who uses graven images for worship like Buddhists, Hindus, Taoists, etc.) for worship purposes by saying, "We are not worshiping the image but the one portrayed by the image itself." and that's been the most common excuse to bow down to them. Is there Purgatory or not? The word Mariolatry is a combination of the word "Mary" (who is referred to as Maria in Latin) and "idolatry" therefore we get that word.  Now the Roman Catholic Church and in extension the Orthodox churches, Coptic, Byzantine but they're basically still Roman Catholic by nature even with a few minor adjustments like having the priests married.  A little logic  in Egypt the priests of their pagan faith were allowed to get married BUT that didn't make them any less pagan!
