The Story of Vietnamese Christian Boun Chan

Image
What does it gain one to get the whole world yet lose one's soul? This is the vibrant testimony of Boun Chuan who was once a Communist director general became a Christian and lost everything he once had. You can think of how many people have converted from becoming persecutors to persecuted. You can talk about the testimony of Saul of Tarsus leaving his affluent position with the Pharisees for Christ, Matthew and later Zaccheus  left the job of a dirty publican for Christ, some Romans under the service of cruel Roman emperors got converted - the story of Boun Chan is no different! The idea of risking one's life for a Bible sounds absurd to human ears. But you can't get wrong because the Bible is indeed the Word of God. Boun Chan could stand all the torture and starvation for the name of Christ - but he could never stand a day without a Bible. He took every risk to keep reading it and he would get tortured standing for God's truth. But no amount of pressure from an at...

Emily Satterford's Conversion Testimony Proves Homosexuality Is a Sin!

Emily Satterford started out as a false convert to Christianity then she became a lesbian.  Later, the power of the grace of God by faith alone through His Son the Lord Jesus Christ delivered her from homosexuality. I am glad that for testimonies of former homosexuals who now share their testimony of how the Lord Jesus redeemed them from that sin, not in that sin.   As 1 Corinthians 6:11 says, "Such were some of you; but you were washed, but you were sanctified, but you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and in the Spirit of our God." which means, true converts do not want to live their old lives anymore.

Another Abortion Clinic is Officially Out of Business, Praise the LORD!

Image
From Wretched TV, here's a clip of showing what great power the grace of God does when it saves people. The abortion industry has been one of the biggest, most rotten fruits that results out of man's total depravity. If I could vomit of people who offer their own children to pagan gods and goddesses in exchange for a favor, today we see many countless unborn children who get killed all in the name of convenience.   I urge you to watch this video and see how these people have repented of their horrible sins that supported the spirit of the Pharaoh who ordered the murder of baby boys, the spirit of Athaliah who killed her own family and by the spirit of Herod the Great who killed all the male children two years the younger just so he could keep his throne. I could not help but be moved by such marvelous testimonies that only the grace of God can do. God's grace is no license to sin but grants power against sin (Titus 2:11). As 2 Corinthians 6:11 says, "And suc...

The Testimony of Pastor Ashfin Ziafat, A Former Muslim Who Became a Christian

Image
Considering today is September 11, 2015 I would like to share this testimony of Ashfin Ziafat.  From a former Muslim, he is now a Southern Baptist pastor.  I would really love to share this testimony - from a Muslim, he is now a Christian pastor. I dare you to listen to his testimony and see how God can move in the lives even in the most rotten unbeliever.  I thank God for having dealt with his soul and has called him out of Islam to preach the Gospel! Sola Deo Gloria... Glory to God Alone!

Testimony of Former Iglesia Ni Cristo Member, Now a Born Again Christian

Editor's note:  First and foremost, I would like to thank the Bereans for this wonderful story of a former Iglesia ni Cristo minister (or pastor), now he has become a Baptist Christian.  It's a sad story that some people have just jumped from one cult to another.  Some members of the Watchtower Society, Charismatic Movement or the Iglesia ni Cristo have left Roman Catholicism but they have never truly come to know the truth of salvation is by faith in Christ alone and that any good works after Christian life is but the grace of God at work in the believer.  Now for this brave testimony that I can really share after many years of searching for one testimony which I hope will further bring more INC members to Jesus Christ. May I begin with a word of prayer that in the midst of all these trouble, I call upon Jesus Christ the Son of God who the Iglesia ni Cristo deny is indeed God, the only way to salvation, that they trust upon their works and church membership tha...

An Atheist Professor Converts to Christianity

Image
Here's a video from Todd Friel's Youtube channel called "Wretched". Atheists always have their angry hatred towards God. Here's a testimony of how one atheist professor gets converted to Christianity.  Aside from former atheists like Dr. Lee Strobel and Pastor Andrew M. Murray, this is one man who discovered he's been in rebellion against God all his life.   Listen to the discussion and this is one of the best arguments against atheism and their adherence to atheistic evolution. Science does not disprove God but it proves God, science proves that life is no accident. Sad to say but a lot more atheists are going to Hell because of their hatred for God. This video will also show Christians are NOT LAZY to study science, atheists are too lazy to seek the evidence because they hate God. They think they are smarter than everyone else but they are real idiots. It's because they are rebelling against God who they cannot debate.

From Taoist to Born Again Christian

Below is a testimony I found here while Googling for the testimony of a former Taoist.  I would like to share this meaningful testimony to show just how futile any form of paganism is: My name is Wilson Tang. I would like to thank God with all my heart for His unfailing love, grace and mercy in that He has given me a new life, a new hope, a new nature and a new beginning. Everything is new in the kingdom of God. Amen! Before I came to know the Lord Jesus Christ, I live a life that was aimless, without direction or goal. It all happened in the year 1979. I dropped out from school when I was in Primary 6 and began my rebellious lifestyle when I befriended the wrong company. I got entrenched in all kinds of sinful activities such as smoking, gambling, theft, gang fights and human trafficking. When I was around 18 years old, a friend brought me back to his house. His father was a Taoist medium. I witnessed him going into a trance and claimed that he was one o...

My Thoughts on Manny Pacquaio's Recent Victory

Image
Well after the defeat of Pacquiao at the hands of Marquez, he had won another victory after being tested. I personally am not a boxing fan nor do I intend to be one but I want to give my thoughts on his victory yet again.  On the other hand, I still cannot forget the illogical statement that some Roman Catholics made that it was because he left his faith that he lost. Now can those apologists who really have heckled me a lot in the past now explain why Pacquiao had won again?  To be honest, the argument is null and void like there are times Christian schools beat Roman Catholic schools in inter-school competitions and vice-versa.  For the Christian schools to lose, it doesn't mean God has forsaken them but has given them some losses perhaps to chastise them or to test them so they can see their flaws.  Again, religion has NOTHING to do with winning or losing competitions, period.

Manny Pacquiao's Conversion: True or False?

Image
Bro. Gerry Soliman of Solutions Finder Apologetics who I wish to soon meet in person has actually raised the issue of rumors that Pacquiao had returned to Roman Catholicism .  The truth of the matter is once saved, always saved.  That is a true Christian remains a true Christian no matter what the circumstances may be by God's grace and true faith in Christ continues by God's grace and not by man's effort.  Anybody who supposedly converted to Christianity but later fell away completely was never saved to begin with (1 John 2:19).  Friends, either you are saved or not and the kind of live you live tells the person you are.  Christians do good works only for God's glory, the works salvationist does it in a vain effort to save himself but fail.  By reading the entry from Bro. Gerry's blog, it looks like Pacquiao had a genuine conversion and not a false one. I am really annoyed at how dirty Roman Catholic apologists have gotten who now also said...

From A Canaanite Harlot to A Part of God's Family

Here's a translation of Patricia Javier's testimony that happened long ago proving this ex-porn star now a mother and a house meet proves God can change EVEN the most regenerate sinner, this is one testimony the Pharisees would hate to read: Patricia came from a poor family. In her adolescence, her parents separated. She and her siblings stayed with their mother. To help her mother provide for the family, Patricia joined beauty pageants to pursue a dream and for the prizes which helped to tide things over. Her break came when she joined the country's  most prestigious beauty pageant, Binibining Pilipinas or Miss Philippines.  Although she did not win the title, the Bb. Pilipinas pageant opened doors for her into the Philippine movies. As her star rose in show business, she quickly built a fortune she had dreamed of.  "From nothing we have built a beautiful home, I was able to travel to many places and met people I had never imagined of meeting in my life,"...

Praise God- Megan and Grace of the Phelps Clan are Westboro Baptists No More!

The Westboro Baptist cult has its infamous doctrine of works salvation and though claiming to be a Calvinistic institution, they apparently adhere to dangerous Arminian teachings PLUS the Phelps family is ruled by psychotic self-righteousness.  In fact, whether or not the Westboro Baptist are linked to Mossad Operatives and Zionist operatives (since they believe that there are also elect Jews which may apparently be supporting them while hating other Jews that DO NOT conform to them).  However two granddaughters of anti-Roman Catholic cult leader Fred Phelps.  I do appreciate Fred Phelps hatred for sin, the Great Whore, etc. but I cannot stand just how self-righteous he is plus how many good Christian workers has the Phelps clan really accused of being "secret Jesuits".  As said, I am NOT minding those scoffers, they hare sowing their own ruin.  As far as concerned, the Westboro Baptist cult has more than meets the eye and I consider them fraudulent but God is ...

Words from the Late Robert A. Champagne, Former Catholic Priest on Catholicism

Here are some very strong words from another former Roman Catholic priest. Now here are some words I want to share: Often people have asked me if I had studied and read the Bible either as a seminarian or a priest, and if so why hadn't I seen the truth? First of all, the unregenerated man cannot see the light (1 Corinthians 2:14) . And secondly, in the Roman Catholic system, tradition (manmade, emphasis mine) on an equal par with the Bible itself. This was affirmed at both the Council of Trent and the Second Vatican Council, which have stated that, " The Church does not draw her certainty about all revealed, truth from the Holy Scriptures alone ." (Vatican II, Constitution on Divine Revelation-paragraph 9) In spite of the fact that the Word of God clearly contradicts such practices and institutions as the mass, the Papacy, the priesthood, prayer to the saints, confessions to a man, prayers for the dead, crucifixes, and images, etc. Roman Catholic tradition upho...

Former Buddhist Student Leader Becomes Christian

Editor’s Note: Samuel Autman, a journalism student at the University of Missouri in Columbia, was once a student chapter leader in a growing sect of Buddhism known as Nichiren Shoshu American. Nichiren, which emphasizes world peace, boasts a membership of 17 million world-wide with half a million in America. I’m Samuel Autman, a 22-year-old native of St. Louis. I want to share how the true and living God delivered me from Buddhism. I had searched high and low for the “perfect teaching,” until finally I discovered a group of Buddhists who seemed happy. This sect believed that by chanting a specific phrase everyday, humans can experience true happiness. I attended one of their meetings and discovered that they were average people who chanted this single phrase rhythmically. The leaders told me to not believe in the chanting, only to try it and see what kind of results I got. I was instructed to make a list of things and chant to see if it worked. This was the measure th...

Ex-Buddhist Monk in Myanmar (Burma)

Introduction  The story that follows is simply a translation of a taped testimony from a man with a life-changing story. It is not an interview or a biography, but simply the words from the man himself. Different people react in different ways when they hear this story. Some are inspired, some skeptical, a few will mock and ridicule, while some others have even been filled with rage and anger, convinced these words are the ravings of a mad man or an elaborate deception. Some Christians have opposed the story simply because the radical and miraculous events described herein do not fit their feeble image of an Almighty God. We were first made aware of this story from several Burmese church leaders who shared it with us. These leaders had looked into the story and had not found any suggestion of it being a hoax. It was with this in mind that we decided to step out and circulate the story. We do not do so for any monetary gain, or with a motivation of self-promotion. We just want to ...

Testimony of Annie Fintan, a Former Occult Member and Ex-Witch, Now in Christ & Serving in Deliverance Ministry at Refuge Ministries

From the time I was very young, I felt that I was different from the other kids that I knew. I was incredibly sensitive to things of a spiritual nature. Without having an explanation, I often knew things that I had no natural way of knowing. I knew there was a spirit realm, because I had seen spirits. Since I knew of their presence, it seemed only natural to seek what I could learn from them. I grew up hearing Christianity presented in many forms, but none of it ever sank past the surface. I heard the teachings of how Jesus was God’s Son and that He had died for our sins so that we could one day live in heaven with Him. I knew the hymns, and even memorized a few Scripture verses. However, none of it was real to me. I watched the lives of those Christians who taught of a Savior, and they seemed empty and shallow. In my early teens, I left any consideration of Christianity behind, and began searching for truth elsewhere. I committed myself to learning all that I could of the spirit re...

Testimony of Enoch R. (Full Name Not Given)

I was born a third generation Seventh-day Adventist to Jamaican immigrants to Canada. While growing up the Seventh-day Adventist culture was as much a part of me as my family's Jamaican heritage. Our family in many ways could have been poster family for "The Adventist Home" (an SDA Ellen White publication). Every morning our family gathered together to pray, sing a hymn, and read the morning devotion, which was always written by Ellen White or Morris Venden. My father or mother would then take my brother, sister and I into our Adventist school, which was several miles away. My parents paid dearly for our tuition but were pleased with the education we received as we always tested well in meeting the government standards. When we returned home, at some point in the early evening we would have family worship again. The evening family worship was longer and usually consisted of 2 hymns, prayer, and the studying of the "quarterly" (lesson plans) provided by the Sev...

Once a Jesuit, Now a Child of God by Bob Bush

I began my Catholic journey in a little country town in northern California in the U.S.A.  The town was so small that we did not have Mass every Sunday, but a priest used to come once a month if he possibly could to hold Mass in a big public hall. I have both an older and a younger brother.  My father had been trained at the University of Santa Clara.  As a result, my parents thought it would be a good idea for us to attend a Catholic boarding school.  The Jesuits ran the school and I was a student there for four years.  Academically it was a very good school, but the only type of religion to which we were exposed was Catholic theology and tradition with no emphasis on the Bible. Desire to Serve God and Mankind As graduation approached I considered what I should do with my life.  I thought that becoming a Jesuit priest could be a good way to honor and serve God and help mankind; that was all I knew. ...

The Conversion Of A Catholic Nun by, Wilma L. Sullivan Formerly Sister Wilma Marie R.S.M.

Being raised in the Roman Catholic Church by wonderful and loving parents, I came to realize that I had a strong desire to do the will of the Lord in what I considered to be a special way. The only way I felt I could serve the Lord to the fullest was by entering religious life. From 1967 to 1971, I was a member of the Sisters of Mercy of the Union. I thank the Lord for the experience, love and guidance that was given me there. However, my last two years were very difficult. I found division instead of unity. We were so busy "serving the Lord," we didn’t have enough time to be with Him and share Him with each other. My life at this point was in total uncertainty because I felt our goal was to share Christ together and then turn to the world. To me, I was not being fed the spiritual food I needed to feed the world in which I lived. In 1971, I left religious life with the intent of finding out what I felt, why I felt it, and what to do when I found the answers. While still in t...

Testimony of Former Atheist Lee Strobel

The Case for Christ I was an atheist for most of my life. I thought that the idea of an all powerful, all loving God was just silly. I learned in school that evolution was where life came from, so what do you need God for? And I had a lot of self-motivation for living an atheistic lifestyle. I was living a very immoral life and a drunken life, life that was really a hundred percent focused on journalism. I remember I've loved newspapers since I was a little kid. My dad used to bring home the Chicago Daily News every night from work, and I would read it as a little kid and say how is there all this news every day and how does it always happen to just perfectly fit? I couldn't figure this out. I wanted to be a journalist, so I started a newspaper when I was 12 years old; and it became quite successful. We had 200 subscribers, and we charged 20 cents a month. It was five pages a week. I printed it in my basement on a little printing press. I had advertising, thre...
