Works Salvation Promotes a Dictator God!

The picture above is scary isn't it? That's the kind of idea that works salvationists want their congregation to think of how God is. Let's think about it that what if God really intended that there will no chance for man to be saved by grace and that they had to WORK for their salvation? The Roman Catholic Church teaches that man must have do good works to be saved which they try to differentiate "good works" from "works of the law" when both are just synonyms. Islam teaches for man to be saved, they must please Allah with all their good works. Other cults like the Pentecostals can be as deceitful as to say, "Salvation is initially by faith then it must be maintained by works or lose it." No sir/mam, that is still works salvation!

In short, works salvation is actually promoting a dictator god (not God, notice it is spelled it with a small letter g) while the ecumenicals accuse my kind of teaching dictatorship because of John 14:6 stating that Jesus is the only Way.

So why does works salvation promote a dictator god? Here's why:

Men are all sinners and God can't allow sin in His presence. That is true. God can't allow sin in His presence but the problem is ALL have sinned and are under the condemnation of God's Law (Romans 3:10-23). That means in every way possible, man will always fall short of God's glory no matter how hard they try because one sin is not equal to no sin. It was because of man's hopelessness that He sent Jesus Christ to save and make salvation easy for mankind. Romans 5:5-8 says that God showed His love for man that by His Son Jesus Christ, man can enter His presence! Salvation is something that nobody deserves (because all sinned) but God is willing to give it to you anyway but you MUST receive it to benefit from it!

To teach works salvation also means teaching that God has little patience for the weak. How true. God saw the problem of sin and He decided to send Jesus Christ to be the cure. 2 Corinthians 5:21 says that Jesus became sin for mankind so they can be saved. Works salvation would inevitably have it done this way. For example, a person can pray to God for strength against sin but since he/she has to work for their salvation, He would just laugh at him/her and throw that person out like Odin of Norse mythology does to those who can't do everything he says. This is just equal to what quacks would say about Christ and salvation to be, "I believe that one must do ALL Christ commands for salvation." and another who said, "Salvation is not about trusting Christ but doing what He says all the time.  Jesus only loves unconditionally as long as you do what He says." and these fools can't recognize the difference between the root and the fruit when it comes to salvation. And for Christians, for them to do good works is ONLY by God's grace to overcome and a result of salvation (Ephesians 2:10, Titus 2:11-15).  Also, 2 Peter 3:9 says that God is not willing for anybody to perish but all should come to repentance or metanoneia or change of mind for the better.  In works salvation, it would exempt anyone who is nailed to a cross or stuck in the middle of a desert where there is no water to get immersed for baptism.  Plus, it would also mean that the poor don't have a chance because of their poverty, it would be hard to donate to charity and some are even too weak to do all the good works in an attempt to please a dictator god.

Also, it would mean defeating the purpose of the cross of Jesus Christ. The whole issue here is that, Galatians 2:21 is clear if the good works could achieve the righteousness that God demands, Christ is dead in... VAIN. That's right. To add any form of good work (like baptism, sacraments, the rosary, etc.) to faith in the Lord Jesus Christ and trusting what He did that He PAID IT ALL, then everything He did would be useless like from His rejection, His scourging to a bloody pulp, His shedding of the blood on the cross for the remission of sins, His death so man may live and the resurrection. When He said, "It is finished." the work of salvation was done therefore it is still God's work. Any good works Christians do, do not contribute to getting saved or staying saved, but happens only because sin was defeated on the cross and they accepted that victory!

If salvation can be lost by sinning, then chastising for Christians becomes useless.- Hebrews 12:5-6 says that God chastises those who are His which can work in harmony with Hebrews 13:5 which says Jesus will never leave or forsake the Christian and John 6:37 which He says He will not cast anybody out whosoever comes unto Him. In the chastising, God chastises the believer but not the unbeliever. The unbeliever is usually left alone and continues to sin without remorse except if being chastised by some other person and God allows them to feel the consequences of sin rather than directly chastise them.  God chastises those who are His and if He is to leave the person whenever they sin, then He has no need to chastise but instead He chooses to chastise the person. That means, He is with Christians ALWAYS even when they sin because He would chastise them WITHOUT FAIL whenever they screw up!

Man can't keep the whole Law either. James 2:10-11 says that nobody can keep the whole Law. 1 John 2:8 says that nobody can say they have no sin in them. Of course, this ministry does not promote a license to sin BUT it should be noted that whether it's a sin unto death or not, it's still a violation of God's Law and both sins deserve Hellfire in contrast to the Catholic teaching of mortal sin and venial sin. Sins unto death or not unto death separated man from God and Jesus died for both types of sins. Now just an example of how sin happens. Let's say that a Christian male would be attending the Sunday service. Okay he listens, he doesn't talk, he don't gossip, he came on time but then suddenly a pretty and attractive Christian girl who's available for the taking sits next to him. Even if she's not married and he's not married, but the fact that he suddenly lusted after her is already adultery (Matthew 5:27-28) and he have sinned that instant! That means if a Christian loses salvation for sinning, it's still works salvation.  As said, presentation of the whole Law to show man's sinfulness is absolutely NECESSARY for a real conversion to make them realize that works salvation is impossible because they can't keep the whole Law.

Plus, you can't separate Lord and Savior. When a Christian gets saved, Jesus Christ is not only their Savior for life but also Lord for life. The beauty of the inseparability of Lord and Savior is that He not only saves but He also guides every Christian to walk accordingly by His grace. Judas Iscariot never called Jesus as Lord as the others did which is an evidence he was not saved to begin with. Every saved person recognized Him as who He is as Lord, before they trusted Him to save them. God chooses to keep them with Him even if they screw up but spanks them because He can't allow sin in His presence (Hebrews 12:5-6).

By the way, God sends people to Hell not because He is a dictator but because of His justice. So somebody self-righteous and trusting self may ask, "Don't tell me it's justice to be forgiven immediately when one receives Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior and not work all the way to Heaven?" If justice were to be implemented without love, then EVERYONE will be in Hell because by God's standard, His justice means no sin allowed whether it be not unto death or be unto death. God is love and justice- you can always have justice but no love (like Communism) but you can never have love without justice. God has love, love enough that He gave His only Son the Lord Jesus Christ so ANYBODY who chooses to believe in Him will see life!
