Catholic Infant Baptism Debunked
The Roman Catholic Church has implemented the heresy of infant baptism in its faith and practice. This is another heresy that must be exposed as many people are deceived by it. So what's wrong with the Catholic infant baptism? Here's what. It's time to refer to Peter's sermon in Acts 2 (which many Catholic apologist associations use to defend their heresies, now it's time to use it to debunk their doctrine) in which baptism ACCORDING to the Bible is always done to a believer. Acts 2:41 has the people believing first before they were baptized. Acts 2:38 is always severely misinterpreted in the reality, it is baptism because of the remission of sins NOT for the remission of sins otherwise 1 Corinthians 1:17 would contradict itself that Paul was not sent to baptize but to preach. Okay children can get baptized when they become saved by the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ but NEVER infants.
Is that the only deal with infant baptism? Unfortunately there is more heresy than just that. Based on observation, infant baptism in the Roman Catholic Church has gone as far as to declare, that by it the baby's sins are forgiven (and the additional note is that they believe that babies must be baptized or they go to limbo, that teaching is NOT Scriptural), is given new life, that they become children of God by baptism and that the baby is officially a Roman Catholic because of the infant baptism. But here's where the logic will REALLY fall out of place- baptism doesn't make one a Roman Catholic unless the person CONFORMS to the Roman Catholic system and trusts its ways for salvation. For example, a baby baptized in the Catholic Church gets misplaced, he/she then is adopted and raised by a Baptist couple- that baby could not be considered a Catholic to begin with especially when the Baptist couple raises him/her in the faith! Unfortunately the faulty logic has become another reason why it's very difficult to pull the Roman Catholic out of the system.
However thanks to the crisis of faith in the Roman Catholic Church caused by the testimony of former priests and nuns turned non-denominational, fundamental Christiansthere are already some who by God's grace. Only God can really work a miracle- and it's always by God's grace that any person no matter how lost can be saved!
