In Debunking Roman Catholicism, Remember the Bible is the ONLY PARAMETER to Rebuke Its False Doctrine!

It's pretty sad to think some Christian apologists have sunk to the level of Roman Catholic apologists not only in behavior but also in the line of reasoning.  So pretty much it's sad to say but the book "The Two Babylons" is more full of illogical fallacy than proper logic.  Sad to say, even some credible Christians do get into the wrong line of thinking in exposing Roman Catholicism.

For one, there are some doctrines and practices that Roman Catholics CAN agree with born again Christians but that does not make it wrong like:
  • Both believe in the Trinity and that Jesus is God
  • Both believe that Jesus died for the sins of mankind
  • Both believe in doing charity work for the least fortunate in life.  Just to give credit, some Roman Catholic organizations did help during the Yolanda incident.
  • Both believe Sunday is the Lord's Day.
  • Both believe the Bible is needed for spiritual growth.

If we are going to base the wrongful practices of Catholicism by what it does then what I mentioned is just wrong.  And also, here's some fallacies that have been common in debunking Roman Catholicism when the Bible is not set as the parameter will result to genetic fallacy, false dilemma and guilt by association arguments rather than the Scripture to debunk it:
  • In exposing the Rosary remember that to say the Rosary is wrong because of its pagan origin is nothing more than genetic fallacy.  If that is so, to dismiss anything because of its origin will call born again Christians to reject the scientific findings of Roman Catholic scientists like Gregor Mendel (who was also a Catholic monk) and Louis Pasteur because they weren't Christians or even that of Pythagoras because he was a heathen.  Rather the Rosary is best exposed as wrong when you take it to the light of Matthew 6:7.  Some Roman Catholic scientists (or other heathen scientists) actually still debunked many fallacies of atheistic view of science and two, helped forward science with stuff like pasteurization, a further study of biogenesis and the Mendelian way of studying genetics.
  • In exposing the error of the Catholic doctrine of Mary, they are frequently using the Queen of Heaven pagan origin argument rather than what the Bible says about who is the ONLY Mediator between God and man.  Rather than show that praying to Mary much less asking divine help from her (who is not God) is unbiblical with verses to show that you only go to Jesus, somebody had even dare say, "Well show me a verse in the Bible where I should go through Mary to Jesus." was just as stupid as the response as the other said, "Well you can't show me a verse I shouldn't pray to Mary either."

Which of course, here are the following errors born from the fallacies just because Roman Catholics believe it which many of these are guilt by association:
  • Deists consider the divinity of Christ a pagan doctrine and manmade doctrine.  Some Deist cults like the Iglesia ni Manalo claim that the idea of Jesus being God is a manmade conception just because Roman Catholicism teaches it.  If those Iglesia ni Manalo members will just CHECK their Bibles properly rather than leave it to the interpretation of their "infallible council" they will find out that Jesus is God!
  • Seventh Day Adventists associate Sunday worship with 666 just because Roman Catholics attend services on Sunday.  What they don't realize is that Sunday worship is Biblical.

And as said, Bible always comes first!
