According to Some Roman Catholic Apologists, Being a Born Again Christian is Unbiblical

I am always amazed with how many people still continue to choose to follow the Pope blindly while condemning the blind followers of a pastor at the same time.  If they really claim to belong to the true church, do they know what Jesus told Nicodemus?  They are always speaking ill of born again Christians but do they really realize the Bible says you must be born again?

John 3:3-8 of the Good News Bible even says:

Jesus answered, "I am telling you the truth: no one can see the Kingdom of God without being born again."  "How can a grown man be born again?" Nicodemus asked. "He certainly cannot enter his mother's womb and be born a second time!"  "I am telling you the truth," replied Jesus, "that no one can enter the Kingdom of God without being born of water and the Spirit.  A person is born physically of human parents, but is born spiritually of the Spirit.  Do not be surprised because I tell you that you must all be born again.  The wind blows wherever it wishes; you hear the sound it makes, but you do not know where it comes from or where it is going. It is like that with everyone who is born of the Spirit."

I am so amazed at how some Roman Catholic apologists can memorize Scriptures and quote it faster than some born again Christians but they do not even know the full context and meaning of the Scriptures.  Some may appeal to the Greek but only for their convenience like they mistake "ekklesia kath'oles" in Acts 9:31 to justify their existence but do they know the full meaning and context of it?  The same goes when some Catholics tend to say that being a born again Christian means to be a heretic, a "burn again" Christian or insert any cuss words beginning with a "b" they can think of just to derail the born again Christianity movement.  I am amazed to how such people can be so arrogant to claim that faith is not enough and that to be guaranteed salvation, you must keep doing good works but many of them really live like they have a license to sin.  Worse. many of them keep quoting verses that tend to go against their favor because either they do not fully understand context or they are just too lazy to actually go beyond memorizing Scriptures.

What is so ironic is that even approved Roman Catholic translations tell them, "You must be born again."  Being born again is not about receiving the sacrament of baptism as an infant or receiving it through baptism as an adult or receiving it through "confirmation" by the Roman Catholic bishop.  They say that those former Roman Catholics who became born again Christians were just "misled" and "misinformed" by the lies of "burn again Christians".  Then again, they should tell that to the priests and nuns who left the Roman Catholic system after reading the Bible.  Those "born again Christians" who became Roman Catholics are what 1 John 2:19 says and I will quote again from the Good News Bible saying, "These people really did not belong to our fellowship, and that is why they left us; if they had belonged to our fellowship, they would have stayed with us.  But they left so that it might be clear that none of them really belonged to us."

To become a born again Christian is not just merely jumping from one denomination to another.  Anybody can join into a denomination of born again Christians but one is not truly born again.  To be born again of the Holy Spirit involves repentance of one's sinfulness.  What does it mean to repent of one's sins?  It does not mean forsaking your sin but rather it is a change of mind towards one's sins seeing them as offensive before God, that Jesus Christ is Lord of all and that there is nothing you can do to merit that salvation.  Today, many people confuse repentance of one's sinfulness to works salvation without realizing that Luke 24:47 says that repentance and remission of sins is part of the Gospel.  It does not mean just praying a sinner's prayer repeat after me evangelism without any proper conviction of sin.  Some do get saved in a sinner's prayer evangelism because the preaching was really convicting them of their sinfulness resulting to genuine repentance.  But the prayer alone does not save because many people say the sinner's prayer without true repentance leading to yet another false conversion.

When one reads the secret history of the Roman Catholic church or the secret history of the Jesuits, the war against born again Christians was never a pretty picture.  During the Dark Ages, the Roman Catholic church attacked pre-Reformation born again Christians.  When the Protestant Reformation was ignited launching the truth of Five Solas then more bloody persecutions came.  To call the whole incident a "misunderstanding" and a "misencounter" rather than a massacre has always been the common tactic.  Some Roman Catholic apologists even say, "Well they deserved it." which inadvertently has them confessing their hateful activities.  The murder of Calvinists on St. Bartholomew's Day, the murder of the Waldenses and all those activities done against born again Christians are something the Vatican does not want the public to know.  That is why any Roman Catholic priest or nun that leaves the system to become a born again Christian might as well be labeled as "merely misinformed to be mislead by those idiots called born again Christians".

After all, Roman Catholics just follow the Pope blindly.  When Pope Francis said all the unbiblical nonsense like that there is salvation outside of Christ, Jews can be saved without receiving Jesus, that atheists can enter Heaven if they do enough good and that having a personal relationship with Jesus is not biblical and a dangerous theology then I am not surprised some Roman Catholic apologists dare say that being a born again Christian is unbiblical.  It would be very important to pray for these people, love them, do good to them and the call of born again Christianity has been this in Romans 12:19-21 saying:

"Dearly beloved, avenge not yourselves, but rather give place unto wrath: for it is written, Vengeance is mine; I will repay, saith the Lord.  Therefore if thine enemy hunger, feed him; if he thirst, give him drink: for in so doing thou shalt heap coals of fire on his head.  Be not overcome of evil, but overcome evil with good."
