The Militant Atheist's Use of Strawman Arguments

While some atheists are actually open-minded to a certain extent to still agree with Christian scientists' position on science (even if they refuse to believe in a God or acknowledge that Christian scientists did contribute to science) but others are just plain close-minded. The militant atheist says that you can't be a Christian and a scientist at the same time. If they can't refute the correct arguments of any creationist whether they be Christians or not so they resolve to using a strawman.

The use of a strawman means they misrepresent the opponent's stand to a weaker position then claim that they've supposedly refuted it. It's a very common tactic used to make one look like he or she won an argument when it was just a dirty tactic. They start making up lies about creationists like that the believe in a flat Earth, that they don't believe in science or whatever to make sure that only they militant atheists have the first and last say of what science is. In short, they want to make sure they're the only ones who should be heard and not anybody who's not an atheist.

This is indeed a problem with having a hardened heart. They know God exists but they just want to continue to set up strawmen and claim they've refuted His existence. It's a matter of what Romans 1:18-22 says that they know God exists but they hate Him. They pretend that God doesn't exist but they know He does. They laugh at Him outwardly like He's some fairy tale but in reality they know how much they hate Him.
