The Terrorist Attack Against Mosques in New Zealand is No Better than Islamic Terrorism

There is nothing good about what happened in Christchurch, New Zealand a few days ago. While Islam is indeed an evil religion but we do have to realize these things about Islam:
  • The average Muslim today (especially those living in non-Muslim or non-Islamic state countries) have no idea that they belong to a death cult. They may not even have the idea that Muhammad was actually a terrorist or want them to murder Christians. They may not even have an idea that the Koran is actually a violent book.
  • Jesus had taught Christians a very different approach on how to love your enemies in Matthew 5:44 and Luke 6:27-25.
  • Ephesians 6:12 says that the Christian's daily war isn't against flesh and blood but the demonic forces of Satan. The war against Islam is a spiritual warfare to warn Muslims about Hell and tell them that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, the King of Kings and Lord of Lords!

Some of the Muslims that suffered the trauma or even died without Christ that day are actually refugees. It's stupid and paranoid to claim every Muslim refugee is automatically a suicide bomber, pedophile, terrorist or infiltrator. Some of them are just fed up with war and want to move where their "prophet" Muhammad would have wished them to conquer but they don't want to conquer that location. While killing a Muslim terrorist out of self-defense is permitted yet waging war against defenseless Muslims is not permissible. Jesus told the disciples not to live by the sword. Peter was rebuked when he tried to use force to spread Christianity. He told them to buy a sword for self-defense but never for waging wars.

The Christian response to Islam has never been to fire bullets but to bring Muslims to the knowledge of the Gospel truth. If said participants claim they are Christians then I have every reason to cast a huge doubt on that claim. Jesus never told Christians to massacre to spread His cause. While the Bible does approve of death penalty yet Jesus never told Christians to take the Law into their own hands. The death penalty is state responsibility not civilian or church responsibility. The Roman Catholic institution's violent crusades against the Muslims and Jews are anything but biblical. Don't criticize the Roman Catholic institution for its brutality or Islam for its brutality if you claim to be a Christian yet approve of this monstrosity. The disciples asked Jesus to let it rain fire from Heaven (Luke 9:54) yet Jesus discouraged them because it wasn't yet His time. I remembered wanting to enact a religious war against my former churchmates stuck in Roman Catholicism after I was ridiculed for my faith then I just felt I was told, "Remember Jesus told you to love your enemies."

The proper response is to give them the Gospel. Stop assuming every Muslim is a terrorist or criminal because it will hinder the spreading of the Gospel! The average Muslim people are just living their normal lives and may not even know how to fire a gun or make a bomb. The very thing that every Muslim has with each other (as well as with every other lost person) is that they will go to Hell when they die - it's because they don't have Jesus as their Lord and Savior. While it's good to raise the selective outrage to why Muslim terrorists are hardly condemned for their terrorism against Christians - let's not forget that Muslims themselves are part of the mission field.
