Overanalyzing and Overdoing Stuff Then Mixing Them Up With Conspiracy Theories

I remembered how often I used to listen to anti-Catholic conspiracy theorists such as Alex Jones or Vigilant Christian Mario. It would be a good thing to write about overanalyzing and overdoing it. If you've watched Vigilant Christian Mario - you may notice the guy is very good at overanalyzing things. He's no better than Jesus-is-Savior (which he criticizes and a site that has misled many immature Christians),  or Texe Marrs' paranoia ministries ares also very good at overdoing and overanalyzing things.

The first task of the Christian is preach the Gospel while rebuking sin in the process. Unfortunately, "Vigilant" Christian Mario is too focused on overanalyzing videos and upcoming movies. Others are too focused with linking who and who to the Illuminati - even if said entertainment company or music band isn't part of the Illuminati. Take note that anybody can be promoting blasphemy and unbiblical teaching without having been part of said organization. Also, just because Helen Keller the inventor of the sign language was supposedly a theosophist doesn't make the "I love you." sign which resembles the Satanic salute by Anton La Vey a devil worshiping tool. Doing the rock and roll hand sign doesn't automatically make one a satanist. That is best categorized under the logical fallacy called guilty by association. It's like saying doing a Roman salute is evil because Hitler did it as a Nazi salute or that eating Polish cream cake is evil because the late John Paul II loved it a lot.

Here's one of the most ridiculous claims I've seen from above. So really what's the real evidence that these acronyms mean that. Do you know acronyms may mean more than one thing? SWAT can mean Special Weapons and Tactics yet it can also mean Sit, Wait And Talk. Using the abbreviations are sometimes useful when messaging someone such as LOL meaning the person is laughing out loud over something stupid (such as conspiracy theorist stupidity) and BRB can be a good way of telling someone you'd be out for awhile. It doesn't necessarily mean that you are worshiping Satan.

Sometimes, the best idea of dealing with satanism in the media is to cut the tree and not pluck the leaves. I'm aware that there's a lot of violent video games, movies and TV shows. Many of them contain satanic filth so why even bother watching them and reviewing them for signs and symbols from the Illuminati? Shouldn't a Christian be more busy praying for the lost (which includes peoplve involved in worldly entertainment) than overanalyzing such trivialities?

Some people have gone as far as to make several preposterous claims without any real proof whatsoever. I remembered that there was the rather unproven rumor that Proctor and Gamble's owner allegedly sold his soul to Satan for success - as if Satan could magically make anyone wealthy. Sure, Satan can help one become wealthy through unethical means but he can't magically make people wealthy. The Vatican and the Church of Satan didn't get magically rich overnight either even if plenty of their money was gotten through unethical means. If that were true then why aren't prosperity gospel preachers able to make gullible people who give them money wealthy if Satan can magically make people wealthy? Satan makes some of his followers wealthy but not magically wealthy. If the owner of Proctor and Gamble isn't saved then such a person is in Satan. Take note also that just because a person made a deal with the Devil doesn't mean they're beyond Jesus' salvation. All lost people have sold their souls to Satan the very moment they committed their first sin.

The real approach is to really stop overanalyzing and overdoing stuff. Remember that while Satan is indeed powerful, he can cause bodily harm like he did to Job but He needs God's permission first. Satan could only do much to Job because God said, "I will let you do what you want." to him. Satan could only make Job lose his wealth and prestige only because God allowed it. Though one must acknowledge that Satan's power is limited and he's a defeated foe. He can hurt but he can't truly heal unless God permits it. Many of the "faith healings" are but fake healings such as what goes on in charismatic rallies and in the grotto in Lourdes. He can cause people to sin but most people sin even without him tempting. Satan could only cause disease or maybe even heal people but only if God says so. Satan's power is limited by God. Remember Job didn't get all those disasters if God didn't have a purpose. The comfort is that when Satan afflicts the believer - God has a purpose of allowing it for His own glory. So just do the job of the Great Commission and spread the Gospel to everyone.
