I remembered the time I was in a Baptist school, I got saved and I was soon bound for every insult the world could give to me. One of them was that I was old-fashioned because of my beliefs. I remembered one time that the school was called "old-fashioned" but why? I was listening to the very recent sermon of Pastor Paul Tabanao who is a missionary to Cambodia. It had me thinking of how Cambodia still shakes my very bones with the sad history of the Khmer Rouge. How many percent of the victims were saved? How many of them right now are even tormenting Pol Pot in the very pits of Hell? Hell will be more than hot enough for Pol Pot's depravity. I remembered reading through Jeremiah can be a chore because the events of that book continue to repeat itself. At the same time, reading through Jeremiah can be a comfort because the prophet chose to stand by God's command even if he momentarily stopped preaching (Jeremiah 20:5). One verse that is used to call for old fashioned revivals is Jeremiah 6:16 which says: Thus saith the LORD, Stand ye in the ways, and see, and ask for the old paths, where is the good way, and walk therein, and ye shall find rest for your souls. But they said, We will not walk therein. It's a problem you start calling for old-fashioned revivals and people will call you outdated or a neanderthal. One of the biggest mistakes today is teaching that love doesn't rebuke. If they think love doesn't rebuke then it's time to say love does rebuke. 1 Corinthians 13:6 says that love in action doesn't rejoice in falsehood but in the truth. While you can rebuke without loving but you can never love without rebuking. The Christian ministry was called to lovingly confront evildoers not to have a false kind of love and tolerance toward them. Ephesians 5:11 says that Christians must have nothing to do with the works of darkness. Instead, they are called to rebuke the workers of darkness. You can't be a Christian and still love darkness. If you're a Christian you were called out of sin not called into sin. Nobody can claim to be a Christian and claim to have a license to sinfulness. 1 Peter 4:17 states, "For the time is come that judgment must begin at the house of God: and if it first begin at us, what shall the end be of them that obey not the gospel of God?" It's good to call for national repentance but how can that happen if that local New Testament church is filled with backsliders and apostates?  Repentance must start with the churches before they can reach the nation.  If a church doesn't repent of its indifference then how can it reach others for Christ and call a nation to repentance?  It can't because there's no light to lead others.  How can one lead a person out of darkness if there's no light.  It's foolish to think one can do that because that's the blind leading the blind into the ditch. MacArthur saying that Christians are a preservative in the midst of a decaying civilization, I really think of the Abraham negotiating with God concerning the destruction of Sodom (Genesis 18:16-33). The world is getting more and more wicked by the second or even by the split second because of how fast sins can get legalized. What is legal to man is not necessarily legal in the Law of God. Looking at this quote by Pastor John F. Macarthur, I always thought of how the truth offends, then let it offend.  After all, people have been offending God with their sin so why should they not be offended with the truth?  While I have stopped my previous method in my old blogs that the best way to reach the Gospel is to be as cheesy and offensive as possible, however being too soft and thin-skinned friendly is not the way either. I was listening to Paul Washer this week on "The Church is One" and somehow, he had raised a very important issue I believe should be raised.  Are we raising Antinomian Baptist parishes?  The answer for many can be a very loud yes.  I just thought of the satanic doctrine of "it's easy being a Christian" or "easy believism".  I had a thought that I was already looking at several Baptist websites, I am so amazed at how many of them are actually falling for an easy-easy doctrine.  Friends, being a Christian is not easy.  Reading John Macarthur's corrected edition of "Hard to Believe", in fact I would say that it is never being a Christian because it cost God His Son.  It's the life we live, not the words we speak that determine whether or not our faith is 100% authentic.  I don't expect sinless perfection but the life will matter.  To think about it, I am already facing some of these really touchy issues that need to be handled bec...

While I do believe that Christians will get a regeneration, change of life because of salvation as said in Ephesians 2:8-10, Titus 2:11-14, 1 Corinthians 6:9-11 and Hebrews 9:14 of God's grace changes lives, changed from sinning to serving but we ought to be careful with something. 1 John 1:8 warns however that if Christians can say, "Hey I'm without sin." they are deceiving themselves. Some people may call me a works salvation preacher and holding a skeleton key for insisting that I say performance assessment is necessary. But why do I insist on doing a performance assessment?  Jesus Christ does not merely save by His grace and by ourselves, He also sanctifies the person and faith has Christ's work in it.  So because salvation is the work of God, therefore it would be very impossible for a Christian to have no change whatsoever.  Paul said in 1 Corinthians 6:11 with the words, "And such were some of you..." after he had pointed out how the unrighteous cannot inherit the Kingdom of God.  So it's very demonic to preach that a homosexual can stay a homosexual after they are saved or any form of lost sinner to continue in their kind of lifestyle.  Christianity is not merely a change of religion like how a Hindu becomes a Buddhist or a Buddhist becomes a Roman Catholic- no it is not.  Yes I have my religion as a Christian but I did not j...

I just have a suggestion of doing this to every Christian church- burning AWAY all those satanic Feng Shui charms this Sunday preferably during an evening service.  Acts 19:19 had people who were now saved getting rid of their occult materials.  So likewise Feng Shui items should be brought to church, not to bury them or brought to the Mactan Bridge to throw them but in a barrel and BURN THEM as a protest to the Devil we don't want you and your lousy Feng Shui! I was viewing Pastor Ray Comfort's "True and False Conversion". The easy believist crowd has been very quick to judge it to be a works salvation video. However in truth, there will always be evidences of TRUE CONVERSION from FALSE CONVERSION and I am yet to read Pastor Comfort's "Revival's Golden Key". Remember Ephesians 2:10 is clear saying that Christians are created unto good works, 1 Corinthians 6:11 is clear that such were some of the Corinthians and they were CHANGED.
