God Says To Israel, "Yet Have Ye Not Returned Unto Me." Five Times In a Row

It's really a problem how the problem in Amos 4:6-12 is still true today. The problem is that many of the Jews are just as stubborn as many of the Gentiles. Don't believe for a second that just because a person is born a Jew doesn't mean that they don't have to be born again. If that were true, remember Jesus spoke to Nicodemus a Jew on the need to be born again. Jesus condemned the unbelieving Jews in John 8:44 as children of the Devil. He told them that they needed to repent or perish. Being a Jew doesn't exempt anyone from the need to receive Jesus Christ as one's Lord and Savior.

The phrase "Yet ye have not returned to Me." should be very disturbing. You could think of the situations God used to bring the Jews to repentance. He had stuck them down with famine, caused a drought by withholding rain, struck down the harvest for food, sent outbreaks of diseases and even overthrew them yet they will not repent. This is the problem of how the Jews continuously dishonor God's covenant with Israel. Think about the number of prophets God sent to the Jews yet only a few come to repentance. Think about the earthly ministry of Jesus and only a few Jews get saved. Several Jews today remain ungrateful to God by continuing to reject His only Son the Lord Jesus Christ. They still continue to think they worship God but they reject Him by rejecting His only Son. They have passed through so many disasters one after the other yet their hearts are still stubborn against God.

The unbelieving Jews of today are no different than the rest of the unbelieving world. Think about it that there's an upcoming New World Order. People would want the perfect leader but they ironically reject the Lord Jesus Christ. Most Jews today just don't want to accept that Jesus Christ is their Messiah. They think that the Messiah is yet to come. They continue to celebrate Passover even when the sacrifice on the cross in finished. Some may even be proud of the sins of their forefathers of rejecting Jesus Christ and having Him crucified. They still continue in their unbelief instead of feeling sorry that their sins that nailed their Messiah on the cross so they could be forgiven. To be a Jewish Christian has resulted to rejection in the Jewish community. The book of Hebrews was written to encourage Jewish Christians in their times of persecution.

This problem is really true for mankind and it's already predicted in Revelation 16:8-10. One good reason why people who take the Mark of the Beast are going to the Lake of Fire is not just for merely accepting the mark for the sake of accepting it. The same bunch of people who have accepted the mark have decided to forever harden their hearts to the very end. The truth of the matter is the same people repented not but continued to curse God. It's also highly possible people in Hell will still continue to curse God because they know there's no way out. The rich man in Luke 16:18-31 was fully aware there was no hope for him to leave Hell. It wouldn't make sense to give a second chance after death since such people would still hate God anyway. It's possible that they still wouldn't want Jesus even after they're dead as some Christian comics would want us to believe. I think they could have been forgiven if they repented but remember these people continue in their unbelief. That's why those who accept the Mark of the Beast and worship the image would end up in the Lake of Fire.
