The New Testament fulfills the Old Testament! All the prophecies concerning Jesus are already given out. They can check all the Old Testament Scriptures to see that Jesus indeed fulfilled it all in the New Testament. There is the controversy whether or not Christians are allowed to eat blood dishes. The controversy doesn't really spring too much from the Old Testament ceremonial restrictions (such as not eating pork while considering a kosher diet for health reasons can be accepted) but from Acts 15:28-29. So what was really going on? There was some problems between Gentile believers and Jewish believers. As it was seen, Jewish believers may have no longer been trusting the Law but they are still believing in certain ceremonial laws such as medical circumcision and not eating foods banned in Leviticus 11. On the other hand, Gentiles were probably too used to eating crustaceans and pork which were not eaten by the Jews for some time. It's really a problem how the problem in Amos 4:6-12 is still true today. The problem is that many of the Jews are just as stubborn as many of the Gentiles. Don't believe for a second that just because a person is born a Jew doesn't mean that they don't have to be born again. If that were true, remember Jesus spoke to Nicodemus a Jew on the need to be born again. Jesus condemned the unbelieving Jews in John 8:44 as children of the Devil. There's no doubt Christians are called to love the Jewish people. There's always a consequence with anybody who tries to double-cross Israel or to go against God's covenant wit Israel. God is not yet done with Israel and he still protects it. The reason why Israel stands today is because of God's intervention to show that He's still in charge. When I think of the Third Temple's architectural plans getting unveiled as a sign of the times - I can also think that many Jews remain as obstinate as they ever can get. First and foremost, I would like to say that I am NOT an Anti-Semitic writer when I am writing this. What is my concern here is that to show how sad it is that unbelieving Jews have not only persecuted Christians who are Jews or Gentiles alike but they too are inventors of evil things that have destroyed the world. Since it's Good Friday it would be best to talk something about the illegal trial of the Lord Jesus Christ. Why was it illegal? Here are the reasons: 1.) It was entirely based on bias and NO formal charges were made against Him. Also Deuteronomy 19:15 required two or more VALID witnesses. Mark 14:53-55 has it that there were NO charges to be found against Jesus. He was TOTALLY INNOCENT.
