Say No to Firecrackers

It's obvious that the year end has come and this blog will soon reach its first anniversary.  But there's a little BIT of a warning that we'd like to give- say NO to firecrackers.  Here are the reasons why:
Firecrakers contribute to the issue of noise pollution.  Some people can't sleep thanks to the firecrackers.Firecrackers contain a LOT of deadly compounds which chemistry deems usually dangerous that can cause various health problems including cancers and mental retardation to younger children which is emitted by the smoke caused by the firecrackers.  For more info, you can read here.  Not to mention firecrackers contribute to the injury level.  There won't be any graphic display here as this blog aims to be as child friendly as possible.  The news in itself every new year is filled with such graphic display of injuries which will not be elaborated further to avoid disgust. Worse, somebody could lose their home or their lives this new year.
So we hope that you w…

Counterfeit Virgin Births!

One of the greatest reasons why various people say that the virgin birth was but pagan (not Bible) doctrine is because the concept was also found in pagan mythology.  One must realize though that God already declared the virgin birth in Genesis 3:15 BEFORE the paganism in Babylon even begun.
So here are some counterfeit virgin births in mythology vs. what they really were:
1.) Greek mythology teaches various virgin births.  According to mythology (being written all over again) here are some of the (in)famous virgin births that were really based on sexual lust in contrast to God the Father choosing Mary to become the human vessel of His Son via the Holy Spirit: Zeus impregnated Semele to produce Dionysius the god of the earth.  Later Zeus was said to have impregnated Danae in the tower in the form of a shower of gold and sired Perseus who formed a kingdom.Perhaps the most infamous account ever was that of Hercules, the son of Zeus and the mortal Alcmene who crushed a snake as a child.…

Why a Virgin Birth?

Well it's Christmas and we're not here to tackle on worldly celebrations but rather to use it as a soulwinning opportunity.  So why was a virgin birth necessary?  In fact it was already planned in Isaiah 7:14 that a virgin woman will bear a child- that is definitely a MIRACLE that cannot be accomplished by natural laws.  Why did God plan a virgin birth?
So here's a little bit of the Bible's miraculous births: Sarah who was barren gave birth at 90 years old.Rebekah was barren for 20 years before Jacob was born.Rachel who was supposedly barren but she had Joseph then later Benjamin.Manoah's wife was barren but Samson was born.  Hannah was barren but gave birth to Samuel and eventually other children.Elizabeth at 52 years old gave birth to John the Baptist.
So here's a little bit about the reality of sin.  It was by Adam's act of disobedience not Eve who spread death to mankind (Romans 5:12).  Genesis 3:15 was clear on this.  God said that it was going to be …

A Worldly View of Christmas is FATAL POISON

Here's a reality- Christmas had its pagan origins because December 25th was addressed as the birthday of Mithra.  However going back to ancient Babylon, there was also really no definite birthday for the child god Tammuz and depending on the culture, each one had a different birthday for their specific false gods.  There is nothing wrong with celebrating Christmas if Christmas want to honor John 3:16 and celebrate it as an opportunity to soul win people to Jesus Christ with GENUINE GOSPEL PREACHING.
However the problems with Christmas is because of the worldly view can be seen with: Santa Claus- Replacing the Lord Jesus with an inferior being who but comes once a year and has to ask for your names!  This view is a very big breeding ground for worldliness and atheism.  Many atheists who were once pseudo-Christians said they stopped believing God exists when they found out that there is NO Santa Claus.  As said, there is no Santa Claus.  It's all a demonic hoax like the list of …

Why Jesus Christ is Better than Santa Claus

Here's a message to all the children:

Santa Claus lives at the North Pole ...
JESUS is everywhere.

Santa Claus rides in a sleigh ...
JESUS rides on the wind and walks on the water.

Santa Claus comes but once a year ...
JESUS is an ever present help.

Santa Claus fills your stockings with goodies ...
JESUS supplies all your needs.

Santa Claus comes down your chimney uninvited ...
JESUS  stands at your door and knocks,
and then enters your heart when invited.

You have to wait in line to see Santa Claus ...
JESUS is as close as the mention of His name.

Santa Claus lets you sit on his lap ...
JESUS lets you rest in His arms.

Santa Claus doesn't know your name, all he can say is
"Hi little boy or girl, what's your name?" ...
JESUS knew our name before we were born...
Not only does He know our name,
He knows our address too.
He knows our history and future and
He even knows how many hairs are on our heads.

Santa Claus has a belly like a bowl full of jelly ...
JESUS has …

A Sinner May Ask, "What About My Good Works?"

In the soulwinning business, one of the greatest forms of persecution by the unbelieving crowd is this, "Surely a God of justice will certainly grant me into Heaven for my good works."  The answer is no, no, no.  Here's a few facts that should be addressed about works salvation as some objections against such talking of self-righteousness like the rich young ruler: Works salvation is NOT at all realistic or practical.  Remember the thief on the cross who received Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior did show works but to the works salvationist, that will not be enough.  Remember he was nailed to the cross and he could not do all the good works to be saved.  Or one may remember Lazarus the beggar was so weak, he could not work for his salvation.  The god of the works salvation crowd can't be good and merciful.Isaiah 64:6 declares that man's own righteousness is but filthy rags.  Man in his own state is but a man who needs salvation.  In fact, Isaiah 1:18 talks abou…

Does Jeremiah 10:3-5 Talk About Christmas Trees?

I remembered the time I was newly reading the Bible, after I switched to the King James Bible that I read Jeremiah 10:3-5 which seemed to suggest about Christmas trees.  The passage says, "For the customs of the people are vain: for one cutteth a tree out of a forest, the work of the hands of the workman, with the axe.  They deck it with silver and with gold; they fasten it with nails and with hammers that it move not.  They are upright as the palm tree but they speak not: they must needs be borne because they cannot go.  Be not afraid of them: for they cannot do evil, neither also it in them to do good."

When one looks at Jeremiah 10:3-5 in context, one has to even see the rest of the context.  The more I read it, the more I really see that it in context, we can read in Jeremiah 10:14 talks about graven images when it says, "Every man is brutish in his knowledge, every founder is confounded by the grave iamge: for his molten image is falsehood, and there is no breath i…

What Holy War Do Christians Fight?

Somebody tells me this, "Hey you, you're doing nothing but picking fights? Do you know how many religions kill each other for the truth?" He says I am a bigot because I say the truth is worth fighting for, because I am firm in the stand that Christians are at a daily war. Yes Christians are at war but it's not like how the world would think it is or as some people call fundamentalists as "another Taliban". The very fact that Christians uphold John 14:6 has caused them to be labeled as bigots and religious terrorists.
However in Biblical context, one cannot see that "love one another" would exempt to the holy war Christians fight. Take note that there is NOTHING holy (set apart for God) about Jihad, the Crusades and the Inquisition, they're all unholy because they're nothing but murder against those they consider infidels. But the holy war that Christians fight is this- Ephesians 6:12 says that the struggle of the Christian is not flesh a…

Is Pastor Ray Comfort's Use of the Law to Reveal Sin in Preaching Flawed?

The answer is a BIG FLAT NO!  It has come to mind that Pastor Ray Comfort of CARM.ORG and Living Waters is being criticized FALSELY and UNFAIRLY by false preachers that he is being Ray Discomfort (that's because he preaches messages that cause extreme discomfort to people who love their sin but a comfort to preachers who preach against sin using the Law) because he preaches by presenting the Law as a way to show sinners that they are NEVER GOOD ENOUGH for Heaven.  Some of the worst proponents of conditional security even tried to put him in heated debate.  So what's really the point?  To be honest, Hell's Best Kept Secret is really true with evangelization.  Pastor John Rice said, "If you are not preaching against sin, then don't expect salvation."  How can sin be presented?  By the LAW.  That's right the L-A-W- Law! If they can't read it, they really need to go to an eye doctor or better yet, reexamine themselves!
The Bible is clear that the Law is …

The Heresy of Sinless Perfection

One of the greatest heresies that really float around is the sinless perfection.  The heresy can be understood in two ways each explained:
The first version of the heresy is that it is taught that people should attain sinless perfection to enter Heaven.
This is utterly ridiculous.  These are from that awfully problematic, abrasive, self-righteous crowd who demand the impossible, who put the cart before the horse- in short the WORKS SALVATIONIST!  That is, these people believe that one must strive to be perfect and stop sinning in order to enter Heaven.  Many of them believe that when a Christian stumbles into sin, they immediately lose their salvation.  Many of them claim the utterly ridiculous that they've stopped sinning and say stuff like, "I've never sinned for X amount of years."  Again, it's really questionable as many who say they've never done anything wrong are living their lives like devils, they live like as if they have a license to sin because Go…

What's Exactly the Problem of the Works Salvation Crowd?

Here's what- the works salvation crowd are indeed a major nuisance.  Many of them are simply highly chaotic, paranoid individuals who really have the problem of Christians who preach the REAL message that salvation is never earned nor kept by works but it results to works.  In fact, again it goes to to where Ephesians 2:8-10 is clear with the statement "... so NO ONE could boast."  That is, nobody can ever say, "I did all the good works to enter Heaven." or "I'll stay away from sin to enter Heaven."  Rather, it's "I did all the good works because God is the one who works in me." and "I'll stay away from sin by the grace of God".  One takes merits for the good works not meant for him/her while the Christian does good works because God counted them for righteousness.
So here's a big reality- the works salvation crowd counts the doctrine of eternal security to be heretical and a license to sin while sadly MANY of thes…

Easy Prayerism vs. True Evangelism

There is the real issue that people are actually replacing true evangelism with easy prayerism hence the article, "The Sinner's Prayer Controversy".  The reality is so true that people today are actually having some false conversions because they claim that some "crusade" they made a decision for Christ.  Here's a little bit of the truths beneath those "crusades" where people make "decisions for Christ":
Many of them teach WORKS SALVATION.  Sad but true. The charismatics say, "Hey who wants to receive Jesus Christ into their hearts?"  Many times, these perverted crusades stress out DAMNABLE heresies that defend salvation by works.  Try attending one charismatic crusade and you'll hear a lot of garbage of adding works to faith in Jesus Christ.  Paul Washer keeps pounding the methods of charismatic meetings and washing away dirt for such a means of salvation.  Many who say they did pray the sinner's prayer during those mee…

What America's Churches Need is PERSECUTION!

Pastor John F. Macarthur stated from "Persecution: A Price to Pay for Being a Christian?" when he interviewed Pastor Daniel Wong from China, "I am absolutely 100% convinced that the weakness of the church in America, the superficiality of the church, the shallowness of the church, the hypocrisy of the church is directly related to the absence of any cost or any price to be paid to be a Christian. If you don't have to pay a price, heh, just jump on the bandwagon. If persecution came to America, you see a very different kind of Christianity. A whole lot of people who are really good to talk about Jesus wont be talking about Jesus any more. Who profess to know Jesus and to be part of the church, they will stop talking very fast if the price was as high as it is for some people."
Here's what- America's Christians have become so lukewarm that it became inevitable for the following to happen: Taking away the Bibles in 1962-present from the public school system …

Understanding Luke 1:43- Mother of My Lord

One of the greatest logical fallacies in trying to defend the Roman Catholic (and in extension Orthodox) tradition of Mary is in the "mother of my Lord" verse.  At first glance, it seems that Elizabeth was calling her cousin Mary the "mother of God" and giving her the adoration and worship that only God deserves but further analysis should prove it wrong.  They appeal to the Greek of Lord meaning "Kurious" meaning "supreme in authority".  No doubt that Jesus is Lord.  However He also shared the nature of being man aside from being God throughout the whole human ministry.  As God, He doesn't have a mother but as a man, He has a mother.
Now appealing again to Luke, Luke 8:21 has the Lord Jesus Christ saying that whoever does His will is His family- mother, brother or sister.  Now the logical cycle can go this way: if anybody becomes a believer then that person is a mother of God.  Now that is just plain crazy logic.  Now going back to Elizabet…

Abortion Increases the Chances of Breast Cancer and OTHER COMPLICATIONS!

Here's an interesting observation- not ever since abortion came up, cases of breast cancer has been heightened.  Okay not everybody who gets breast cancer had an abortion because the causes can sometimes be genetic but the cases of breast cancer were not that high until the dawn of abortion.  Here are some findings that should be very alarming by Joel Brind: There is an 800% increase in breast cancer for women less than 18 years old who have an abortion after the eighth week of pregnancy. On average there is an 80% increase in breast cancer if the woman has an abortion before a live birth.Risk of breast cancer increases with the number of abortions.Women who have an abortion before a live birth and develop breast cancer have a greater possibility of having a faster growing tumor with a poorer cure rate than women who have not had an abortion.
Yes, in fact especially that abortion is murder.  And here are other effects of abortion that could lead to cancer but not necessarily: Convul…

Theological Use of Mean

Perhaps another confused word in theology is the word means.  Here's the Matthew Henry commentary that can get people confused:
The sacrament of baptism, rightly received, is a means and a pledge of salvation.
Understanding the Old English environment, it can be pretty confused.  So let's get down with the meaning of mean:
a : to have in the mind as a purpose : intend <she means to win> —sometimes used interjectionally with I, chiefly in informal speech for emphasis <he throws, I mean, hard> or to introduce a phrase restating the point of a preceding phrase <we try to answer what we can, but I mean we're not God — Bobbie Ann Mason> b : to design for or destine to a specified purpose or future <I was meant to teach> 2 : to serve or intend to convey, show, or indicate : signify <a red sky means rain> 3 : to have importance to the degree of <health means everything> 4 : to direct to a particular individual

Why Christians Should NOT Participate in Halloween

As Halloween draws near, now it's time to really have the REAL issue to why Christians should not participate in Halloween.  As said, there is nothing man can do to make Halloween or HELLoween  any holier than it is more satanic.  It should always remain as is- it's not a hallowed eve, meaning dedicated to God, rather it's a Hellish evening.  Here are the reasons why and kudos to John Macarthur and Jack T. Chick for being so informative:

I.) Halloween will always be associated with Samhain or paganism, in fact it's modernized paganism
The Bible is clear that God warned about in Jeremiah 10:2 never to learn the way of pagans.  In Deuteronomy  18:10-11 warns of witchcraft being abominable.  Galatians 5:20 is clear that witchcraft is still immoral under the ever enduring moral law that endures from the Old Testament to the New Testament. In the Book of Acts, Paul battled various sorcerers and when people converted to Christianity, sorcery became a business gone bankrupt!…

Reasons Why Some Unbelievers Enter into Religious Debates with Christians

If there's anything that's pretty irritating is that there will always be people who dare to challenge Christians to useless debates.  As said, this ministry doesn't enter into debates because it's a TOTAL waste of time and those fools can call everyone the names they want- chicken, homosexual, coward, etc.
Now why do they enter into debates?  Here's a few reasons:
I.) It's all about a matter of pride
As said, pride is the big issue.  That cannot be denied at all.  They love to show off their uselessness thinking they are smarter than everyone else. So proud that they can't even accept they are wrong.  That's why these debates are recorded and televised so they can "look good".
II.) An intention to embarrass the opponent
The issue is that debates are also another trap meant to embarrass the opponent.  Once the unsuspecting opponent enters, the debater has already prepared his methods of heckling and insulting the opponent, a moderator that i…

The Rosary: Is it Biblical?

Here's another issue worth throwing this Reformation month which also happens to be the Rosary month. Okay, again, this ministry does not mean to be unkind to Roman Catholics (or their opponents who teach another gospel like the Mormons, Pentecostals, INC and Jehovah's Witnesses) but we are here to present the truth one Scripture at a time. We are not a conspiracy theory website, we are focused on soulwinning people. Many people are also relying on the Rosary hoping to gain their salvation when it does not. Friend, only Jesus can save you, not prayers, not works, not rituals, only by trusting in Him. It only takes faith in Christ to get saved, people make it from difficult to impossible for themselves that's why it's very hard to believe facts like salvation is NEVER by works.
Now it's time to really examine the Rosary. How is the Rosary done? Here are the steps: Beginning with the Rosary's Cross: Begin as with all prayers In the Name of the Father and of the …

Male Chauvinism is Just As Bad as Feminism

Male chauvinism can be defined as "Irrational belief of superiority to one's being a male."  If feminism is not the only issue to tackle, male chauvinism is and it can be blamed why feminism is also a problem to society.  What is really crazy also is that many works salvationists are also male chauvinists.   No true Christian who is eternally secure in Christ would even think of sexual immorality is just a-okay- even David after he fell into an affair with Bathsheba by God's grace would never repeat the same incident again out of his status as still being saved.
So why is male chauvinism wrong?  Here are some of the outcomes:
I. Male chauvinism has no respect for women at all
Like it or not, even if God made women the weaker vessel but men are supposed to protect women and not treat them as if they're objects and not subjects.  Concerning husbands, Ephesians 5:25-28, Colossians 3:19 and 1 Peter 3:7 is clear that husbands should love their wives just as Christ loved …

Slaves in the Bible: Was it REALLY the Modern Day Concept of Slavery?

One of the greatest accusations of the unbelieving groups is that the Bible condones slavery especially that the word "doulos" means slave.  Atheist hate blogs (and many of them quote the famous Dawkins quote of pitiless indifference) really dare to say that Christianity has been responsible for the slavery that plagues the minds of people.  When the word "slave" comes, the concept of mistreatment, unpaid labor, human trafficking, racial discrimination- which however is different from the Bible's form of "slavery".
So what was SO different about the Bible's form of slavery?  Exodus 21:16 is clearly a verse against human trafficking which condones the crime to death.  1 Timothy 1:8-10 lists human trafficking as one of the many sins that plague the world.  This would mean that the Bible had condemned the practice of selling people.  Abraham Lincoln a good Christian president worked hard to make sure that the black men were given equality and freedo…

Theological Use of Turn

There is the controversial "turn from sin" statement which can cause certain preachers to be mistaken to be teaching works salvation.  So here's a dictionary definition for "turn":
To cause to move around an axis or center; cause to rotate or revolve.
2. To cause to move around in order to achieve a result, such as opening, closing, tightening, or loosening: turn the key; turn a screw.
3. To alter or control the functioning of (a mechanical device, for example) by the use of a rotating or similar movement: turned the iron to a hotter setting.
4. To perform or accomplish by rotating or revolving: turn a somersault.
5.
a. To change the position of so that the underside becomes the upper side: turn the steak; turn a page.
b. To spade or plow (soil) to bring the undersoil to the surface.
c. To reverse and resew the material of (a collar, for example).
6. To revolve in the mind; meditate on; ponder.
7.
a. To give a rounded form to (wood, for example) by rotating against a cutt…

Some Myths About Homosexuality

There's always the myths concerning homosexuality that floats around either to bully a person or to justify the wrongness of the deed.  So this ministry would like to show how it's being justified and how the word "homosexual" can be used as heavy false accusation:
First, the myths that homosexuals use to defend themselves: They say they are born that way.  One of the greatest "justifications" for doing homosexuality is always the inborn issue or the hormonal issue. What is often ignored is that there are noisy lesbians and silent male homosexuals, there are muscular male homosexuals and there are less manly lesbians and the list can go on where a homosexual still sticks to the characteristics of his/her true gender but tries to pervert it.  As said, the issue is NEVER hormonal.  Rather, the issue is Romans 1:26-27 answers it better that it's a result of rejecting God for idols that causes homosexuality.Another is that it's safe.  Despite the alarmi…

A Call for Occult Media Burning This Halloween

Well here's one way for Christians to "celebrate" Halloween is by an annual massive burn a lot of occult media on Halloween as a means to fight witchcraft.  Acts 19:19 says, "Many of them also which used curious arts brought their books together, and burned them before all men: and they counted the price of them, and found it fifty thousand pieces of silver." which was being done at Ephesus.  This was that the converts from paganism to Christianity burned down all their witchcraft materials as a result of salvation.  As said, the Devil distracts people in too many ways like presenting witchcraft as just a-okay to making them believe it's just make-believe like Bugs Bunny when it isn't.  Christian churches as much as possible should refrain from listening to the criticisms of the world because they're not of the world (John 15:18-19).
However please do take note that this is NOT involved in witch hunting- Christians should love witches to tell them …

Annulment and Divorce: It's the SAME in God's Eyes!

Matthew 19:6 says, "Wherefore they are no more twain, but one flesh. What therefore God hath joined together, let not man put asunder."
The issue today is that many synonyms are treated like antonyms. Two words that get played as such also are divorce and annulment? Is there a difference? The legal constitution of man may redefine them but the effect is still the same. It's still divorce. It's still annulment. Mrs. Liberty Jesalva of Bible Baptist Church says, "Christian lawyers cannot defend a law that is a lie." when she was asked about Christian lawyers who handle the ANNULMENT cases in her article, "Saving the Christian Home " in Volume 3, Issue 8 of the Baptist Herald.
Now for the definition of annul and divorce: Annul-make (something, esp a law or marriage) void; cancel the validity of; abolish,To obliterate the effect or existence of:Divorce-To dissolve the marriage bond between,To end marriage with (one's spouse) by way of legal divorc…
