Will Mary the Earthly Mother of Jesus Crush Satan's Head Instead of Jesus?

It's really common for cults to misinterpret and misread verses on purpose isn't it? What should be amusing is that the Roman Catholic institution has had the subtle deception of Mary worship still going on in its system. As a former Roman Catholic, I was misled and misinformed all because I didn't read the Bible for myself. Now it's time to tackle on the Roman Catholic claim that Mary the earthly mother of Jesus will crush Satan's head. Since today is the traditional birthday of Mary the mother of Jesus I hope this article will convict many Roman Catholics of all the erroneous doctrines they have concerning Mary.

What's their basis of saying that they are confident that their "mother" will crush Satan's head? They read it from Genesis 3:15. It's really stupid to claim that I have the Roman Catholic institution that I have a Bible (yet it's been forbidden from the laity from being read).

The problem goes with the translation between the Douay Rheims American edition (DRA) and the Good News Translation which are both Roman Catholic Bibles:

Genesis 3:15
I will put enmities between thee and the woman, and thy seed and her seed: she shall crush thy head, and thou shalt lie in wait for her heel. (DRA)
I will make you and the woman hate each other; her offspring and yours will always be enemies. Her offspring will crush your head, and you will bite her offspring's heel. (GNT)

This is one troubling claim that if Roman Catholic apologists tell me that their church brought me the Bible then why are there so many conflicting translations from one version to another? Another is what happened to the missing verses? What should be interesting is that a modern Roman Catholic translation of the Bible says that it's the offspring and not the woman who crushes the head. Yet, the Douay says the opposite. It should also be interesting that the DBA also makes a clear distinction between Peter and the Rock in Matthew 16:18 and the GNT makes Peter a rock to differentiate from the Rock. They are really purposely misreading obvious context there.

The problem is that Mary worship is subtle deception. I decided to listen to some videos such as Tim Staples' professional explanation of why Roman Catholics pray to Mary. They say they don't worship her and that when they pray to her, they are asking her to pray to God for them. They compare it to like what if I asked a fellow Christian to pray for me. But most Roman Catholics sadly don't even see how they've elevated Mary to the level of Jesus. Worse, some of them are ready to bring their pitchforks and torches accusing me of "hating" Mary in this post. I don't hate Mary the mother of Jesus but the very false doctrines that have elevated her to the level of a goddess or treat her as their mother goddess. Most Roman Catholics don't even realize they're making a goddess out of Mary. Calling Mary the mother of God is in fact blasphemous. While they say she's not the mother of the Trinity (which I agree) but the title alone is very misleading. They can say she's the mother of Jesus in His humanity but not in His divinity.

The argument goes that Exodus 20:4-5 (which they removed from their ten commandments displayed on their catechisms and churches yet it's still in their Bibles) talks about false gods is absurd. I don't care who you pray to. They may not be praying to Semiramis or any pagan goddess but it's still wrong to pray to anyone but God. Some of the Hail Mary passages are in Scripture but nowhere do we read "Holy Mary, mother of God pray for us sinners." in Scripture. What should be interesting is that Luke 1:28 of the GNT doesn't even say "Hail Mary..." but rather "Peace be with you." Hailing someone or kneeling doesn't necessarily mean prayer or any act of worship. I do agree with them saying that kneeling to clean one's motorcycle is not an act of idolatry. The problem is that praying to anyone but God is an act of serious idolatry. Revelation 5:8-14 says it's the prayer of the saints and not the prayer to the saints. Again, they are always misreading even the most obvious of context.

What should be disturbing is saying that Mary's obedience made salvation possible. This again causes another problem of making salvation dependent on Mary rather than God. While Mary was indeed obedient but it wasn't her obedience that made salvation possible. Jesus' full obedience to the Father made it possible. Mary herself was even shocked at the whole incident. Mary was obedient but that's by the grace of God. She couldn't even fully fathom the angel's message immediately. That alone proved Mary herself was another human being who needed a Savior (Luke 1:47). These alone show that she herself was a sinner saved by grace but Roman Catholics take that doctrine as an attack against their "mother". Yes, it's an attack against their "mother" but their "mother" isn't the Mary of the Bible but the Mary of Catholicism which is a fictitious Mary, a non-existent Mary plus it took many years before the Roman Catholic institution settled down on the matter of Mary's sinlessness.

You could also consider John 2:5 where Mary only said, "Do whatever He tells you." But the problem is many Roman Catholics even misinterpret the whole event saying that Mary interceded for people. It's already clear as day that Jesus politely rebuked His mother. When Mary told the crowd to do what Jesus did and gave no other command it's already clear she wanted me and you to understand something. Mary wanted people to realize that she couldn't mediate between us and Jesus. She already knew beforehand that Jesus was her son in the flesh but He is the Son of God in His divinity. But that's the problem of the lies that they choose to believe over the authority of the Scripture. No wonder Sola Scriptura is definitely rejected by them so they can keep their own traditions while accusing Bible-believing Christians of doing the same.
