Roman Catholic Mass Media's Selective Outrage

The Roman Catholic institution is either full of surprises or not full of it. I wouldn't know too much of any deep dark secrets of the Vatican nor do I intend to reveal them all. One of the biggest hypocrisies of the Vatican is their selective outrage. It's already an old issue but it still annoys me to death. It should be very frustrating even if it's not surprising. The Vatican has always been a beautifully white-washed tomb full of dead mean's bones. Many of these parishes are white-washed tombs both figuratively and literally. The Vatican has lot of crimes to answer for. One day, she's going to get what's coming for her.

A good example that I could cite is Archbishop Socrates Villegas of the Catholic Bishops Conference of the Philippines. It's time to ask the question where was he in several cases where a Walk For Life was really needed. Instead of having a real walk for life during real times of crisis why is he instead proposing a Walk For Life for the likes of corrupt politicians like Senator like Leila De Lima or for big drug dealers instead of the victims of crime? While Christians should love even the most horrible of sinners but they are called to reprove evil and not to have fellowship with it (Ephesians 4:11). The problem is how misplaced the priorities of Catholic media can get. Why wasn't there any Walk For Life for the victims of Typhoon Yolanda or as of late, the victims of the Maute family terrorists done by Islamic terrorists? Are they angry at the Maute Islamic terrorists for their crimes or for attacking Roman Catholic parishes in Marawi? Why are they mad at death penalty? It's probably because a lot of people who are going to get the death penalty are devoted Roman Catholics who donate huge sums of money to the "Holy Mother Church".

The pattern has been the same. I could remember how often this goes. Whenever a Roman Catholic priest does anything shameful such as raping altar boys or women - they try to cover it as much as possible. Whenever a pastor falls into sin or when a fake pastor falls into sin they trumpet and sensationalize it. Even when a man of God repents of their sin they still sensationalize it. It's just like how David even after he repents of his sin with Bathsheba still gets scorned. The priests no matter how many sexual crimes they committed are still well-accepted. Ahab was such a wicked king and people still kept accepting him anyway. The Vatican scandals have been well-hidden throughout the centuries. A bigger problem arises when historical facts and current events will prove what they call as "myths" are wrong. They would probably say that "The Devil is just clouding your mind!" whenever the violent truth of the Vatican's history comes out. I remembered how often news reports linked to Roman Catholic priests come out and all I hear from some Roman Catholics is that Satan is clouding my mind. Not to mention that a lot of quack pastors involved in sex scandals are also aligned with the Vatican.

Okay, I don't deny that I can agree with some issues that the Roman Catholic media is against. They are right whenever they protest against pornography, abortion, narcotics, sex education, population control or anything that the Bible condemns as wrong. The problem is the motives that they have and how often they are pretty much "Follow what I say but not what I do." like the Pharisees. How often is it that any march against abortion done by a Roman Catholic community ends up covering up the sins of fornication between priests and nuns? Some incidents have verified how abortion happens behind the closed doors of a convent to hide the sins of the priests and nuns. Other incidents have pointed out priests who are indulging in sexually degenerate media and behavior. Some priests are even protecting big time narcotic dealers. What's the use of protesting against certain sins if you're having a walk for life for people who violate the right to life to be protected against the sword of God's law? Romans 13:1-2 doesn't tell the government to plant onions with the sword but to slay evildoers if necessary with the sword. God ordained the death penalty therefore it can't be an act of murder.

There are some historical proofs that the Vatican has used various religious orders to destabilize governments even before the Jesuit Order was established by Ignatius of Loyola. The Foxe's Book of Martyrs, the books of Augustus Toplady and the writings of Charles H. Spurgeon are among a few to reveal the treachery of the Vatican in destabilizing the world. The Dominicans created the Spanish Inquisition not only to convert people to Roman Catholicism even through violent means but also to destabilize governments. The Jesuit Order wasn't only created to counter the Reformation but also to help infiltrate and destroy governments. They only want to back up any government official who sides with the but will go against anyone who doesn't want to be their puppet. They may even be responsible for installing people who aren't legitimately voted into seats of power. What's even sad is that the average Roman Catholic isn't even aware of the anomalies that has long plagued them behind the scenes. But even if they are they are some of them would still cover them up.

What can Christians do? This is not a call to argue or quarrel with Roman Catholics. This is a call to evangelize them. They are stuck in the power of the Devil and they don't know it. They are the mission field to evangelize. They're lost in sin. Christians are not to exercise the state responsibility of death penalty. The task of bearing the sword was given to the state and not to the Church. This is a call to preach against sin and the Savior from sin. What's so sad is that many Roman Catholics love their sin too much to leave their system of hypocrisy. They just love their system that somehow allows them to sin all they want, go to confession, do penance, go to Mass and live like the rest of the world. If that's so then whose really living like someone has a license to sin? This should also serve as a warning of what Christians should avoid doing. It would be stupid and hypocritical to criticize the hypocrisy-driven Roman Catholic mass media if Christians don't expose fake pastors for the scam artists they are. There should be no cover-ups and fake Baptist or any evangelical or Protestant churches that are involved in scandals that could damage any Christian gullible enough to support them. Any evil must be rebuked and there must be no selective outrage or selective justice when it comes to sin.
Revelation 18:4-5
And I heard another voice from Heaven, saying, Come out of her, My people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues. For her sins have reached unto heaven, and God hath remembered her iniquities.

Even so come Lord Jesus!
