One of Rome's Best Kept Secrets Unleashed is Their Violent History

One of the best kept secrets of the Roman Catholic institution is its violent history. Today, try asking the average Roman Catholic about the Inquisition and they may refer you over to Catholic.com's or any Roman Catholic website's revised history to disprove it. They would get mad and say it's just a malicious myth that Satan has cooked up to discredit the "one true church" even when it isn't. I tried reading the undisclosed history of the Roman Catholic institution which started to horrify me. One of these books is Foxe's Book of Martyrs which is a very highly politically incorrect book. The book would still be controversial because most of the Roman Catholic world believes that the Inquisition was just a myth and that the Crusades were either an honorable mission or it was just myth.

It's stupid to see how the Roman Catholic bishops start their condemnation of what's unloving and unkind. One of the biggest and most heated topics today is the death penalty. Former Pope Benedict XVI had signed a document that condemned death penalty. The Roman Catholic institution has offices that condemn the war on narcotics to be unloving. They say that the death penalty for criminals is very much a violation to the right to life. They want to make the world believe that they are pro-life. What they also do is to cover up the ugly truth behind the Inquisition, the Crusades, the Jesuit-orchestrated murders and similar stuff because they're bad publicity for the Vatican. It's highly possible that the Roman Catholic institution's "pro-life" image today is to hide their violent history.

There's one truth about the Roman Catholic institution's violent history and it's that it's a legacy of being unforgiving. The intention of the Inquisition was to weed out what they believed is heresy. The priests acted as the most "honorable" censorship with that's true or what's not. Today, you've got Roman Catholic priests who continue to act as "honorable" men of censorship all the while they indulge in filth behind the scenes. Anybody who opposed them were arrested by the "Holy" Office and were submitted to unspeakable torture. I don't even remember Jesus telling His disciples or His followers to weed out heresy using violence. Jesus told Peter not to live by violence yet you've got men claiming to be Peter's successors who lived by violence.

How is the violent history of Roman Catholic institution stemming out from an unforgiving heart? I don't see how the Inquisition's forcible conversion of non-Roman Catholics to be loving. I don't see how destroying bloody natives with violence to be loving. Whenever people questioned their claims they would actually arrest them, put them on mock trials and execute them in the worst ways possible. People who denied their heresies were put to death. A good example is how people who refused to believe that the communion bread became the literal body and blood of Jesus in substance were set on fire. People who simply displeased the Pope could expect war with their countries. It's all about power control and an unforgiving heart.

I could also mention the history of infanticide is very real. You can think of how bastard babies between priests and nuns are conveniently and violently disposed of. Some may have even been murdered through abortion. The Crusades and the Inquisition spared not pregnant women. The testimony of the pregnant Dona Isabella of Spain had her tortured during pregnancy. Her baby had died in the rack. The Inquisition would even mercilessly kill infants who are born from parents they deem as heretics. Yet they would openly protest against abortion and birth control pills in the open. What shouldn't be too surprising is that some nuns even use birth control pills. Talk about not practicing what you preach.

This 500th year of the Reformation may also mean looking back at the bloody history of Roman Catholicism. This isn't a call to return evil for evil but evil for good. This is also to teach that continuing the Reformation also includes loving one's enemies and praying for one's persecutors. The bloody history of the Vatican may be conveniently ignored by the world today but it's not in God's eyes. God has already marked the Vatican for judgment for her blasphemy. He's calling out His elect out of Babylon right now (Revelation 18:4). It's going to be judgment day for those in her so come out of her now and be separate from her!
