Political Correctness is a Sign of the Last Days

It should be no surprise to the Christian that political correctness is already making itself more prominent than it already has before. Just think of what the Bible says about the last days:
2 Timothy 3:1-7
This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away. For of this sort are they which creep into houses, and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away with divers lusts, ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.
2 Peter 3:2-4
That ye may be mindful of the words which were spoken before by the holy prophets, and of the commandment of us the apostles of the Lord and Saviour: knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts, and saying, Where is the promise of his coming? For since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation.

If you think that it's just plain coincidental then think again. The Bible's prophecies are verified by historical facts and they're happening right before people's eyes yet they refuse to believe it. It's the bitter irony that wicked people laugh at the very Bible that's very accurate about them. Political correctness is already making its way to please the flesh than to please God. We can see how politically correct people are so wicked in this way:

  • They would rather think about the glory of man than of God. Doesn't that serve to those who love their own selves? Some people today think that they are too intelligent and educated to believe that there is a God. They think that God should be dismissed as just a fairy tale while they end up showing how much they hate God when something bad happens.
  • It encourages one to fixate in their self-glorification than God's glory. Some pretend to do things for God's glory but it's for themselves. The popular pastors are those who use the name of God for their profit, who speak according to a worldly viewpoint while pastors who stand by the Bible are often shunned. Isn't it any wonder why Roman Catholicism and other pseudo-Christian organizations keep having a steady flow of cash from gullible people?
  • Blasphemy on media is becoming more and more acceptable. In fact, it's already becoming the norm to keep saying the name of the Lord in vain. A good example is how often the name of Jesus Christ is becoming more and more of a swear word. Prayer and the Bible are now banned in many public schools because they are politically incorrect.
  • We have poor standards for discipline which in turn encourages disobedient to parents. Either parents are too abusive or too lenient. Either way both ways are equally misguided and won't produce proper children.
  • It's so often now how false accusations and truce-breaking has become less and less punishable. Perjury or lying in court is now treated as a "light offense" never mind it could have ended up killing an innocent person and sparing a guilty person who should have been executed. The same people who wish to decriminalize perjury also foolishly complain why innocent people go to jail or get executed by mistake. Another is that many treaties these days are broken because of pride. The Middle East's fight between nations is a good example of that.
  • Self-restraint is no longer encouraged but discouraged. Today, we have slogans that tell people to "just do it" if it feels good. Any move to legalize narcotics is not a surprise. It all started with uplifting the prohibition against alcohol because it "does not work" never mind that not so many will buy narcotics and liquor if the prices were too high. It's all in the name of having fun never mind that is pleasurable is not necessarily beneficial. If prices of liquor and narcotics dropped then the more people will inevitably have more access to stuff that encourages their sinful behavior.
  • Women today are all caught up in the name of "women's rights". They can't tell the difference between women's rights and feminism. Most people today even confuse female sexists with women right's advocates. It's just like how the late Margaret Sanger is considered a champion for women's rights never mind she was a horrible murderer. This alone has caused an increase in out-of-wedlock pregnancies. Among the causes of teenage pregnancies are mothers who sexualize their daughters.
  • People today keep learning but never learn the truth. Yes, such people are learning but they're only learning foolishness and not godliness. Many people today learn the "science" of Darwinian evolution (whether atheistic or not) but they never learn the truth about Genesis calling it a "myth".

The Christian's proper response to political correctness

What Christians can do right now is to fight political correctness with the Word of God, by living a good life and by enduring whatever form of persecution the world has to give. The New World Order is just around the corner. Christians are given the duty to fight it at a daily basis. Remember, the only time that the New World Order will succeed is when the Rapture comes. While the New World Order taking over the world is inevitable but it's still impossible as long as the Church age hasn't come to an end. Persecution will happen to Christians but it's part of what Jesus warned. There's going to be a war against Christians and the only thing Christians can do would be this to fight the New World Order in a daily basis:
Matthew 5:44
But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you;
Luke 6:35
But love ye your enemies, and do good, and lend, hoping for nothing again; and your reward shall be great, and ye shall be the children of the Highest: for he is kind unto the unthankful and to the evil.
Romans 12:19-21
Dearly beloved, avenge not yourselves, but rather give place unto wrath: for it is written, Vengeance is mine; I will repay, saith the LORD. Therefore if thine enemy hunger, feed him; if he thirst, give him drink: for in so doing thou shalt heap coals of fire on his head. Be not overcome of evil, but overcome evil with good.
Ephesians 5:11
And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them.
Ephesians 6:11-17
Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the Devil. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness; and your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace; above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:
1 Thessalonians 5:15
See that none render evil for evil unto any man; but ever follow that which is good, both among yourselves, and to all men.

It's a call not only to pray for the persecuted but also for the salvation of the persecutor. Christians are not called to go against political correctness by bloody warfare but to go against Satan and his demons. Satan and his demons are the real enemy. People who are politically correct are blinded by Satan who must be evangelized with the Gospel. The Christian's enemy is their mission field that they must return their evil with kindness, praying for those who persecute them and who knows maybe the next person who will be saved came from the politically correct crowd.
