Atheists Don't Want to Acknowledge God Because of Pride

Here is an illustration of an atheist who's demanding God to show Himself to them and prove that He's real. It's really funny at the same time heartbreaking to how this is happening. Here we see the atheist demanding God to show Himself. He sees the signs before him yet he refuses to. The sun sets and the sun rises yet the atheist refuses to believe it - all because he doesn't see God. Yet, he foolishly believes in atheistic evolution which he hasn't seen nor truly observed (and uses the millions of years excuse to do so).

What does this show to the world? Romans 1:19-22 reveals this sad state of man's heart:
Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed it unto them. [20] For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse: [21] Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened. [22] Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools,

It's always a matter of the sin of pride, isn't it? What do you think led Satan to be thrown out from Heaven anyway? Isaiah 14:13-14 calls it the sin of pride. The King of Babylon is compared to Lucifer. Satan was thrown out of Heaven because of his pride. Unfortunately, many people today follow Satan unknowingly whenever they let their pride get in the way. They really know God exists but they are too proud to let Him into their lives. More often than not, you can hear atheists who claim that they are too intelligent and enlightened to believe in God and even admit to hating Him when asked about the evidence.

It's also like the Pharaoh of the Exodus. God purposely allowed the heart of the Pharaoh of the Exodus to be hardened for a reason. God is also allowing atheists' hearts to be hardened for a reason. Exodus 7-12 shows that the Pharaoh had every sign available. He saw the plagues were not natural but what does he do? He still refuses to heed to God's call. God would allow the hearts of men top harden for a reason. They don't even realize that God is allowing their hearts to be as hard as the Pharaoh of the Exodus for a reason that His glory may be displayed.

The ultimate irony is how atheists are actually fulfilling the Bible's prophecy. 2 Peter 3:3 warns that there are scoffers in the last days. You can see how this is happening right now. They say the Bible is a book of fables yet they are seeing the prophecies happen before their very eyes. They can even read that verse and dismiss it as mere coincidence. The problem is that they are holding on their pride which will really lead them to Hell. If they say they'd rather be in Hell then they are going to scream in pain in regret for all eternity.
